Semi rural station, with platforms nestled amongst trees, and open views of the rising hills. More trains pass through the station than actually stop here. Almost nothing in the way of any facilities, bus shelter type structures on both platforms for bad weather protection, and a push button intercom system help-point. No car park, but the lane approaching the station has unrestricted parking on it. Westbound platform is accessible, albeit with a slope up to it, but the Eastbound platform is only reached by crossing the tall footbridge from the Westbound platform or down a flight of steps from further up the hill, making it difficult to impossible for wheelchairs, prams, buggies, elderly and infirm passengers to access.

Railway station on the Balloch / Helensburgh to Glasgow route. Only accessible by mobile passengers via stairs Impossible to access platforms in a wheelchair.
