Great place to go, BUT Parking prices are going up in a big way!
In 2022/23 we paid £45 for an annual parking pass. On 2023/24 that increased to £50. However to renew it this year it's gone up to £60. That's a whopping 20% increase on last year. Why do they need to rip people off in this way? It's just a parking space...... Grrrrr.

You can pretty much park anywhere without the park, not just in the actual car park itself. Reasonably priced, only £7.50 for a whole day.

I was at Wicksteed Park a couple of weekends ago park fine we had great time there, but when it came time to pay parking charges I got had by Ringo telephone service, we arrived at 11.oclock and left at 3pm. The park closes at 5pm every evening.
I was charged from 14:56 to 17:56 (charged £4:40) then changed from 17:56 to 19:56 (charged £3:40) charged from 19:56 to 21:56 (charged £3:40) charged from 21:56 to midnight ( charged £4:40) there is customer service at Ringo at weekends, so got intouch on Monday morning but Ringo seems to have washed their hand of sorting out my complaint.

I don't have any issues paying to park at Wicksteeds. There is plenty of parking available and on busier days the parking is well managed by staff. I also appreciate that quite a few people go to Wicksteeds purely to enjoy the free facilities so it stands to reason that they need revenue from parking. I do however feel that they charge too much for parking. £6 for being there over 3 hours is extortionate. After paying that much purely for parking I feel far less inclined to spend money in the on site cafes or ice cream parlour, etc.
