From Craig's initial assessment of my removal requirements, through months of waiting for my house sale, to the final 4 day move, this company were fantastic! Sally and Dawn were very patient and efficient in the office. Philip headed a very professional team of removal men who packed all my treasured items so they all arrived at the other end undamaged. The liaison with the Scottish branch was seamless as they provided an extra pair of hands for the unload and collected all the packaging material when I had finished with them a week later. Many thanks to all involved in this stress free move.

Can only speak about their delivery driver who almost ran us off the road today. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, swore at my mum and and then raced off when we tried to take his number plate. What a dangerous driver who acted with such impunity in a company van with logo plastered all over! If that's how they treat other road users imagine how they treat your things! Best to stay clear....

Avoid.

I went with White & Co. rather than Pickfords or Simpsons, as they were very responsive and reasonably cheaper. As soon as my payment was received, the responsiveness ended. Endless emails to follow up, with repeated promises to call me back which never happened (the ‘Managing Director’ was oft-cited as ‘calling me back’. Never happened, from anyone). I had to endlessly hassle them for updates, & finally had to force the shipment after 14 weeks of sitting in the UK. Their subcontractor for Sweden was clueless, & calling me for directions & access to White’s warehouse in the UK. The shipment finally arrived, weeks late, with damage. They did not clear away or unpack, as I had paid for and was in writing on the worksheet. I asked them to propose a reasonable refund for the latter, and unsurprisingly I never heard back. The only reason I am giving a 1 star, is that Jane & Sally were friendly.

Go with anybody else. You’ll be glad for it..

The guy running this yard with his forklift truck is a very bad communicator, an ill mannered individual very close to being rude to outside drivers visiting the yard.
It won't cost you nothing to speak nice and polite to other people, especially when they are speaking nice to you, mate! Is a matter of education after all, you do it for yourself and for your own self-esteem! 🤕

Move itself was ok. Lads were fine and it went pretty well, mostly.

The guys packed up our main tv, no problem and delivered it to the new house still in its packaging. We stuck it in a room and left it there while we got on with other things. We had no internet or tv service for 10 days so left it where the guys had put it, complete in its box and packaging etc.

When we got our internet and tv packasge on we got it out only to find it had taken a knock at some point and the screen was fubar.

It happens, no real problem, we had insurance, excpet that its only good for 7 days from the move. So not covered.

I get that, and I don't knock anyone, things happen, no ones real fault.

I'm annoyed by two things however.

The guys doing the moving should explain that high value or fragile items should be checked before they leave, or at least within the 7 day insurance period. They didn't.

The office, when we contacted them, weren't sympathetic at all and the tone was that we'd broken it ourselves and were trying it on. That's the most disappointing part of it all.

I'd use them again, although its probably not likely as my last move was 25 years ago so it's not something we do a lot but I'd check everything possible before they left and if you can't, write it on their paperwork that you haven't checked whatever it is you haven't checked.

And to the office bods, don't be so cynical and so quick to jump to conclusions.

Absolutely amazing service from White & Co. They came to my rescue when previous movers let me down at the last minute. I had a tight time frame to move out of our existing London rental to our new home in France. The whole team of packers and movers were all excellent. Quick, efficient and careful. And Simon Huntley, their Move Consultant and my point of contact, could not have been more helpful every step of the way. Really worked hard to make it all happen for us in the perfect timing. I have happily left some things in storage with them too. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you again!!

These guys are so professional. Always respond to my email enquiries, and with response on point. The movers came on time, very polite and helpful. I was moving back from Australia, so I've got quite a lot of heavy and bulky stuff. But they managed to done it swiftly and orderly! The company also came back to collect my carboard afterward. Great team, great company! 100% recommended

Very professional and caring team of movers, they were quick and very helpful and the price was much better then the quotes from the big removal companies
