Great service, you really don't have a long wait to get across, even if you've just missed a ferry, .... the next one isn't far behind. My only gripe is the cost. I realise that prices of fuel and wages, ( and maintenance and investment have increased ) but we're still in a cost of living crisis ( not being helped by Mr Trump either !!!) However, if you buy your tickets from a shop before you travel its cheaper ..... WHY ? There's no difference in the crossing. No preferential treatment, you don't get to the front of the queue, there's no free tea and coffee supplied .... so why buying a ticket ON BOARD costs more ? On reflection, the cost of the crossing as opposed to the fuel used taking the 'drive round' , ( depending on various factors, ... number of people in the car, time factor, traffic conditions ) if you're not in a great hurry it actually works out less expensive to drive round ... just saying !!

Ferry came on time, staff were friendly. Bought tickets for the car on the boat as one way journey which was really easy to do. There is a small deck that you can get out and sit at but for the 20 minute journey it hardly seemed worth it. Would definitely use this service again rather than driving round to Dunoon.

Really impressed. Slick operation, nice staff, and very smooth crossing. Was amazed how quiet the ferry itself was - my previous experience of big boats has been pretty noisy.

We travelled to Dunoon by this ferry for a little holiday. The views from the boat are amazing! You are surrounded by the mountains and the lochs and it's a wonderful 20 minutes ride. I don't know if it was usual for the ferry but there was a HUGE queue to get on and we were waiting a long time. There were no toilets available and no staff around to ask what was happening. But the trip itself was lovely and worth it for the views.
