Started with warrior at DLS4 in December 23 from the start I was made to feel very welcome from all the team and the management. The job it self is a fantastic one and would recommend to anyone. its not easy but it's definitely not hard if you listen to the team take the help and are not scared to work hard and if you do, you get paid pretty well, also opportunitys will open up within the team If you work hard. I would like to say thanks to the lead drivers/management over this time that help me when ever help was needed no questions. The last thing is the management teams top two Adam And Charlie, these two are two of the best managers I have ever work for and made my time at Warrior so easy and made ever day a pleasure to come into work and easy to help them when they need it.
thank you

The worst place to work is Warriors Logistics. They make you work till late nights and when you’re finished with your parcels they ask you to go and help other drivers. Taking deductions from your wages and not even explain why. I had a 60£ deduction from my wages even when the manager Jake told me there will be no deductions because I have proved that it was not me who did the damage on the van as I had pictures. Checked my wages and they still charged me and when you try to speak to someone they’ll ignore you impossible to talk to someone. When you them to help you or you want to talk to them they’ll ignore your calls and messages. DON’T go there !!!

I was working for them delivering for DX in Wakefield. They make excuses as to why you're getting no work and illegally withhold wages. I am owed 6 days work and additional £45 which I used to fuel a van when they gave me an expired fuel card.

They employ you as self employed so that you don't get workers rights. None of the drivers wear seatbelts because taking it on and off takes too much time and then they don't earn hourly minimum wage of they do.
They regularly give drivers packages that are over 25kg (legal carrying weight). My contract said I would receive training about moving and handling and road safety. I received none.
Seems like a very profitable way of exploiting hard working individuals that don't want to/cant work in customer service roles. They also don't count the hours you spend packing the van into what they claim you get paid for.

For example; you arrive ready at 6am, can't get the van packed until 8am because of an issue in the warehouse. You get 120 parcels to drop off. You hit traffic, and don't finish until 6pm. Because a lot of your parcels were late, or because you were rushing to meet unreasonable targets and your compliance photos were bad, you didn't meet productivity goal for the day so instead of £125 you get £115. So for a total of 12 hours work, you get £115 minus tax. £9.58 an hour
This is one example and is not often the case for experienced drivers. However it does happen regularly, especially with new drivers.

By all means, get a job here. But only if you're willing to earn far less than minimum wage until you have months of experience under your belt. Then, maybe you can achieve national living wage.

On paper, it's all totally legal. In practice it's borderline.

A symptom of big industry being able to take advantage of people who need money. I've got a lot of respect for the people who do this job because it's soul destroying.

I started as a driver, and from day one I was given great training support to help me do my job.
I won't lie, I did have bad days but who doesn't? If I needed help it was always there.
The money is.good and now I know my route so well its great to get out and about.
Within 6 month I was promoted to supervisor and now its my job to help and support the guys which I really enjoy doing.
All said it's a great place to work.

Worked 4 days for my induction, even working 14 hours one day and now they let me go for "being too slow". Well what do you expect when you make me work 14 hours and I told them I had an evening job too but they didn't care!
Now I won't get paid ANYTHING. They have basically scammed me for free labour. I was told the driver training me complained about me, the same day I told him about my boyfriend, which makes me think he made things up because he hates gays.
They mark you as "self employed" when they control everything. Definitely a shady company doing potentially illegal things.
How can you make me work 4 days then pay me nothing? SCAMMERS.
