Arrived with parcel at 20:01 which was well before the advertised closing of the post office counter at 20:30 and staff flatly refused to help saying it was closed at 20:00! Thought refusing to help 60 seconds after they said they'd closed must be a joke. No help and had to return next day which was highly inconvenient. Militant approach doesn't make me want to buy anything there. Need to update their hours if closing 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled time....

Would be nice if the person serving had the decency to say hello, thanks, some acknowledgement, but nothing, being completely ignored is not particularly what to expect. I too work in retail so I get it, not the best job in the world, but to completely ignore your customers is just ignorant. Get another job. Preferably not customer facing.

Miserable and unhelpful Scottish post master who always has half his dinner sprayed down his old jumpers. I've never experienced such poor service in a post office before. I now try to use the main post office in Trinity Street where the staff are much more cheerful, helpful and accept every item I want to post without the Spanish inquisition first.

Good selection of corner-shop items including wine & other beverages, milk, bread, fruit and vegetables, newspapers and magazines (delivery available) , some frozen foods etc etc. The Post Office department provides a good service and it is the local drop off point for Amazon deliveries. Definitely a handy shop for locals.

I never fail to have a poor experience in this post office. Especially when the Postmaster is present and serves me. Grumpy, rude & disengaging. Conversation falls on deaf ears, and in return you get spiky responses and 40 questions about what you're sending. Felt more like an interrogation room than a post office!
