Went for a water pump and they did a Vehicle Health Check (not requested) Told me my battery urgently needed replacing, I had a multi meter on it and it holds charge and the Alternator also charges perfectly, they wanted £118 for a battery with 3 year guarantee which I do not need.
They said my brake fluid has 1.5% moisture content In it and needs replacing in the next 12 months, the brake system has been overhauled with copper brake lines, braided hoses and brakes upgraded to VXR Caliper, discs and pads as well as new brake fluid 3 months ago and shot through a M.O.T 800 Miles ago and brand new brake fluid has a moisture content of up to 1% and is not meant to be replaced till around mid 2% to 3% to be on the safe side which will take longer than a year and they want £35 to change fluid that is basically new.
They checked the suspension and said that a rear damper was misting, upon inspection of the pictures it becomes apparent that the patch they are looking at is actually a part of the damper that has had dust wiped off it and when you lift the guard on the damper there is no fluid what so ever coming from the piston rod on the damper and no misting or fluid behind the dampers guard where you would expect it as the weather cannot wash it away.
Inspection points out 2 rear bushes that are deteriorating and a lower engine mount that has a split, the 2 rear bushes are apparently separating from the metal they are bound to but the pictures supplied when zoomed in show no such thing and the lower engine mount has 2 very slight cuts that wouldn't and obviously didn't warrant an advisory on my M.O.T as It passed with no advisories only 800miles previously. Now I know anything can happen in 800 miles so the cuts on the engine mount could of happened in that time but everything else I have spoken about goes to show they actually look for work and had I been less knowledgeable about my car what would they have pulled out to get the work.Would not use and if this hasn't pointed you away from them then look at problems others have had with this company.

They never returned my call in which I requested a quote for changing the cam belt and water pump on my Astra. Disappointing. When used previously they were very efficient.
