Guys go absolutely anywhere else😂 stopped by yesterday and this is how my kids sausage supper was given to me. Sauce absolutely everywhere bar on the food, food directly on to a cardboard box… also added garlic mayo to my order and was gave plain mayo 😭 AVOID AVOID AVOID

Can clarify I never asked for sauce on the side, this isn’t about the size but the way it’s presented , I have emailed and went back n forward and now being posted to social media saying I asked to have it this way.. guys honestly avoid at all cost , 0 customer service skills

My husband and I ordered the haddock with chips – and it was absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly juicy and fresh, with a golden, crisp batter that wasn’t greasy at all. The chips were just as great – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.

The service was incredibly kind and warm. The staff on shift were all young people, and while some may not have had much experience, it was truly heartwarming to see how much effort they were putting in. Their friendliness and care made the whole experience even more special.

You can feel the tradition, quality, and a welcoming family atmosphere here. We’ll definitely be coming back – and we recommend Valerio’s with all our hearts!

Been a number of years since my last visit here, might even be a decade past, so I thought I’d sit in. Was just shy of £40 for a couple of Fish Tea’s, Sausage and chips and a can of juice, which for what it was, I thought was pretty expensive.

The quality of the food was “ok”, nothing to write home about and certainly nothing to rush back for. Portion size was just about alright, a handful of chips, a decent size fish portion to be fair and the food was piping hot.

It wasn’t the best of fish but certainly wasn’t the worst, was crispy enough and I managed to munch my way through it without finding a bone, rare these days.

All in all, its ok if I’m passing and fancied some expensive chip chop food but cant say I’d make a point of travelling for the pleasure.

Food piping hot, and very tasty. My only issue, I managed to get a large number of chips that had bad black bits in them, bits of eyes.

Service was very poor .. delivered sausage supper instead of fish ..was told on the phone that I would have to pay extra and they didn't know when the next delivery would be out ..Allowing for their mistake ..i had to go up in person ...what really got me angry ..Was the young girl that took my order and appeared to deal with this there after.. didn't put her hands up to her mistake but reverted it on the customer ..don't think any extra in-house training would help that one ..she is definitely in the wrong job ...maybe best suited to civil service ☹️☹️

Been coming to Velerio’s since I was a boy (wasn’t yesterday), quality has always been exceptional. However, customer service from Oliver today was outstanding, cheery, pleasant and needlessly apologetic as it was a little busy. Well played.
