One of the worst couriers in the North East. Rarely issue, or stick to delivery windows and the driver covering central Middlesbrough TS1 is unfriendly and never leaves parcels with a neighbour. As a business that opens primarily on a night this is rediculously unhelpful. Every other main courier leaves our parcels with our neighbours, but not UPS - it is missed delivery after missed delivery all because the local driver, I assume, just simply has no pride in his work and cannot be bothered walking the extra few steps to a neighbouring property, preferring instead to try constant re-deliveries.

This is specifically the Sedgefield branch but the people on the desk are always SO helpful. You can literally just take your parcel like you would the post office (try and know the weight is all) and they'll help you sort your postage, I even had a delivery driver hang back once to help me with a super heavy box even though his shift had ended, Top top service from all

Shocking service. According to their web site my delivery was on route today with an expected delivery time. No parcel delivered. Delivery slot changed to end of day. Still no delivery. Rang offshore customer service who advised parcel will be delivered tomorrow as it was not received in time for today’s delivery. Whilst on phone tracking app advised attempted delivery this afternoon. How wrong that is. I was in all day and have CCTV. No delivery was attempted. Who is telling the truth here UPS customer services. I’m not holding my breath. No e mail or phone contact details for local UPS depot but I know where cit is. If I have to I will drive to the depot and pick my parcel up. UPS I award you one star only because it’s the only way to get my review on. I will never purchase anything from a business that use you as their courier service again.

Fantastic service in this office. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Special thanks for releasing a held parcel today as I had some twitchy engineers waiting for the contents!!! Very pleased to turn up this morning to find that Amanda had released our parcel in advance of my arrival, after I had called in last night to explain the problem. Thanks to all of the team. 🙂

Absolutely abysmal. I have emailed UPS 9 times... no response. I have tried to call this depot, the number doesn’t work. I have tried to contact them online, no response. Yet they still have my package, with massively inflated duties. They’ve also claimed to have made 3 delivery attempts which I can physically prove they have not. Any other courier just accepts the invoice, amends the duty and delivers. UPS are a disgrace. What a joke.

Set up a pick up and delivery service with UPS. Told them it was a 40kg vintage brass cash register. The job got booked in. Telephoned UPS, told them what the item was, and checked that I did everything online correct. No mention of it being a prohibited item. After a few days of no collection, it finally got collected. Sadly the till has been dropped and severely damaged. All the glass top has been smashed to smitherines, the wooden base the till sits on is smashed to bits, the brass bent and buckled in several corners, making the cash register draw not working. A till worth in excess of £500, totally damaged. Still awaiting a call back, but told by an agent online, they wont cover it. UPS need to contact me regarding this to resolve the matter. Pictures were sent in.

I am not targeting UPS Sedgefield directly, but the whole UPS organisation.

I have been lied to by numerous employee's from UPS about the whereabouts of my item, they have lied saying the seller has not handed the item over to themselves and then when they were proven wrong and they had in-fact taken the item from the seller, it is now "lost".

I have submitted a claim for the cost of the item (£300) and the custom charges UPS added on top of that (£62) and they ask for seller information which isn't possible to obtain and take forever to answer emails referring to the claim. Speaking to the customer service on the phone is no better either, they are all clueless and have no idea what is going on.

I will never use UPS again and if I ever go to order from a company that uses UPS as their courier, I will buy elsewhere.

DO NOT USE AT ALL!!!

Terrible service, lost a 50 kg 120 long by 100cm by 50cm item how can you lose that. Refused to collect item because he was a lazy rude driver, however after ringing up they sent a another van straight away postage for this item cost£125.00.

Previous time, exactly same item but to a different customer, they refused to pick the item up as it was not correctly packaged ( same rude lazy driver) so I took it to there depot in Sedgefield and there staff looked at the package and said it was perfectly fine. DOWN TO LAZY RUDE DRIVERS. WHY BE A DELIVERY DRIVER IF YOU WINT PICK PARCELS UP.

First time I used this company. With same item as above.
Refused delivery first time as the package wasn’t correctly packed then said metal was showing ( it’s all wood and in a large cardboard box) same lazy driver as above.
So, for 4 days they did not collect after phone call after phone call and booking slots ignored finally after 4 hours on the phone I got transferred to the Sedgefield office and they sent a van out to collect.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, VERY RUDE STAFF,COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR ITEM OR THAT THERE STAFF AS LAZY,RUDE AND LIARS.
