I asked this company to send documents from the UK to the Russian Federation and I was impressed with the service. My friend in a very small Yorkshire village was able to drop off my letter at a local convenience store, a receipt was issued and the letter was promptly collected. The promised delivery schedule (12+ days) was more ore less adhered to and I could track the delivery in detail throughout.

The only problem came at the Russian end, where it appears that the company co-operates with the Russian Post Office. I had asked for the documents to be delivered to my work address, but for some unstated reason this was not something Topparcel's Russian partners were prepared to do.

So I asked for it to be directed to my home address for a Saturday delivery. This did not arrive owing to 'the van breaking down' (the only one in Saint Petersburg?) and the complete impossibility of said van being repaired. This wasted half my weekend, as I had to stay in. I then had the letter redirected a second time to the local post office and collected it without drama the following Monday. On the plus side, I could track the letter in its various movements around Russia's cultural capital (I think updated daily, but not immediately) and the Russian Post Office did contact me twice by phone to inform me of their problems.

I think in the context of ongoing sanctions against Russia and with many international delivery companies refusing to do business in the country, this is still a pretty decent service that I would be willing to recommend for those in my situation.

Disgusting service! Total disappointment after 2 years of work with Polish office. There is no support whatsoever in the chat. Nobody knows anything. All contact phone numbers have also been removed from the website. My parcel CJ240555366RU which was re-registered last year, is still not tracked! There is no information more than 4 months!!!! No one resolves anything!!!

I was really disappointed with the service provided by Topparcel.

The first issue occurred with the collection point. The shop I had chosen for pickup did not actually provide this service, yet it was still listed as an available collection point on Topparcel’s website.

The second issue was a sudden 20% price increase after I had already handed over my package. There was no explanation for this—the weight remained the same, and the dimensions were even reduced. So be aware that the quote they provide may not be final.

Finally, my package was delivered in two weeks, but neither the recipient nor I were notified by email or phone that it was ready for pickup. The tracking status remained “in transit.” By sheer luck, I checked the order from my laptop and found a page displaying the actual delivery status—it was almost expired for pickup at the post office. Unfortunately, this page was inaccessible from a mobile phone. The website is buggy.

Customer support is really responsive, order updates are timely, and the order itself was delivered faster, ahead of my expectations. Well done guys. Keep on moving this way!
