Nice pub by the swing bridge.
Pie and mash special was lovely full of flavour and filling.
Gammon and chips looked and tasted good.
Apple pie and custard was delicious.
Sticky toffee pudding was hard and disappointing, I'd avoid that if you go especially as it's seven pounds for a small portion.

Really lovely pub right by the Reedham swing bridge. Fenced off garden which I suspect is full and fabulous in the summer as its riverside.

Delicious burger, really thick and meaty and they added cheese on request.

Dogs allowed inside. I think its a pub for the locals as well as tourists. Friendly atmosphere inside. Reasonably sized free car park.

Lovely restaurant on the river just by the rail swing bridge, food looked lovely however we only had a brownie ice cream sundae, (had a cinnamon wafer which was delicious!) beautifully maintained gardens were most of the guests were sitting. Pool table: £1 a play. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovey walking route along the riverside, up to the train station, across to the ferry and loops back through a pathway through the field.

The Ship in a lovely quaint village pub set right by the Reedham swing bridge, What a beautiful setting.

Had a lovely pint of doom bar which was very reasonable at £4, and a coronation chicken ciabatta open sandwich chips & salad, followed by a waffle on a caramel bed, with ice cream & whipped cream🥰

Good job I was on a walk to help burn some of the calories😂

What an amazing pub, amazing service, amazing food for only £14 and just all round amazing!

Come here for a meal & drinks you'll definitely not be disappointed😊

Superb home cooled food, delicious specials and excellent value for money.
A good range of cask beers and a couple of kegs.
Staff were excellent, nothing too much to ask.
Large beer garden overlooking the river with gazebo and shelters for when the weather is a little unpredictable.
A delightful pub, in a stunning location that serves great food and drinks, what more could you ask. 😀

We sat in the garden on a dry but cloudy day, watching the boats go by and the swing bridge closing and opening to let trains through. There is a little play park for the kids and an outdoor marquee for shelter when there is poor weather. We didn't sit inside as we ordered at the bar near the entrance and stayed outside, but it looked like a nice traditional pub inside. The service was really friendly and attentive even though we were outside. The food was really well cooked, my husband had Hunters chicken which he really enjoyed and I had a, "Small plate" of Bang bang chicken on a bed of rice." My chicken was succulent, really well spiced with a good bit of chilli heat and a lovely sticky sauce. As it was advertised as a small plate , I had a side of thick cut chips (but really for lunch, wouldn't have needed these.) They were however great chips, double cooked and really tasty. The choice of real ales was good, some from the local brewery and the ales very well kept. I would definitely revisit and recommend...even outside on an overcast day!
