This is a nice place to visit on a nice day. There is a small play area with swings, sand and a children's rotating digger. All within an enclosed and secure area. There is a pub where refreshing drinks and meals can be purchased. Plus a small outside cafe to sit in the sun/fresh air. The views of the Tamar are a sight to behold. Also there is a small park area, which has a commemorative plaque for the men and vessels that were kept in the 'Trot' for the D Day landings. Parking is a bit awkward as space is at a premium. Best park on the road that leads down to Saltash passage. A short drive away is the Tamar Bridge built by Izzembard Kingdom that crosses into Cornwall and more outstanding sights and places to visit. The bridge fee is only £1.50p, and you only pay that coming back across the bridge from Cornwall to Devon via the toll booths.
