I take my dog to this field in Torpoint, locals call it the dog walking field but actually it is used and should be used for all, such as children playing football, outdoor exercise and many more things. The only thing is that as a responsible dog owner I use the facilities provided and pick up my dogs mess, many don't and this makes using the field for other activities difficult. Friends of Thanckes Park are working hard to improve all the facilities and it is all looking so much nicer long may it continue.

A great place to park if you want to enjoy the fields, lawns and waterfront walks. Great area for dog walking. New parking restrictions coming so keep an eye out for those.

A large car park for the park but a bit to far from where there is a desperate need for parking which is in and around the streets opposite the dentist and fire station.
