Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with Storage Vault Kilmarnock. We arrived at 9pm on theThursday evening, after spending hours packing the van and driving 40 miles, but the code did not work to let us in. We phoned security and they could not help us.

We only had help to unload that evening, so my husband had to lose a days work on the Friday, as we were due to hand the van back that afternoon. When we spoke to Storage Vault on the phone, we were told that they didn't know why the code didn't work.

We were fobbed off by being told that it would be investigated, it wasn't. We were also told that the only compensation that we could get is an extra week's free storage, which is a bit ridiculous as we will have moved by then and wouldn't need it.

It wasn't so much that we didn't have access that was annoying, although that was not ideal. It was the fact that the customer service after was severely lacking and there was no apology or attempt to rectify the situation. I received an email after saying "I trust the move went smoothly" and when I explained what I did before, the email I sent was completely ignored. For those reasons I would not recommend at all.

First time using a storage facility and after shopping around I phoned and booked the unit for a month Yvonne and Nyree were great advising me the best size and then managed to get 50% off for the first 2 months which was a big saving as I ended up using it for 2 months! I would like to thank them both it’s been an easy experience thanks to their help!

A really easy company to work with. Very helpful. Had 2 storage units with the storage vault for over a year and never had any problems. Special mention to Nyree and Yvonne they are both an asset to the company. I have already recommended to my friends and family. Will be sure to use you again if needed.

I cannot fault my experience with storage vault. Deborah was so helpful and kept in touch with me through my full time here. I also wanted to extend my stay for a week, I emailed the team on a Sunday night and I wasn’t sure when I would hear back and I got a reply saying it was no problem at all first thing on the Monday morning. Definitely recommend!

My first use of any storage facility, and was recommended to me. No regrets about accepting the recommendation. Good clean unit, with easy access, to the main road, then to either Kilmarnock, or the A77. Both booking and terminating the hire were simple, made easier, by the very efficient, and polite members of staff, that I spoke to over the phone, or conversed with via email. If needed, I would have no hesitation to use them again.

1st time using this kind of facility. Both Deborah and Alison were fantastic with all the necessary paperwork , communications etc. The unit was accessible anytime ,which was particularly useful. Storage was very clean and dry ,well maintained.
