The key word in “salt and pepper chicken” would be “pepper”
You can not serve a box full of onion, battered chicken and table salt and give it the title of “salt&pepper”
As a pro at cooking this dish, I would like to share my advice with you! And that would be to cook the chicken with real peppers and chilli! Although please don’t cut back on the amount of chicken, that is perfect.
Also curry sauce is cheap enough, please be a bit more generous with it! Many thanks, a real Chinese person.

My mother and I love it here. We always look forward to ordering- my favourite Chinese!! My husband loves his food from here too. They do the LOVELIEST food ever!!

We used to order from mayflower but stopped in 2020 and have been loyal to Stoney ever since because the food is tastier, better customer service, higher hygiene rating and just a better experience.

Absolute joke ordered a much box this should of constanted of salt and spicy chicken balls 4 of 4 mini spring rolls chips salt and pepper chicken bites chargeing £10.50 it would just about enough fir my husband the 4 chicken balls were actually 2 cut in half shocking paid over £30 with rest of order will not be going back short changing you on food

Whilst I was shopping I decided to order a Chinese. Mind you weren't the easiest place to find. My second time ordering from them, I wasn't disappointed. I'll have it delivered next time, LOL. Considering I'm a fussy person they get my recommendation.

First time ever putting a negative review for Stoney Lane.
Food was cold, even though it was delivered within half hour of order. Some of the veg not cooked? I don't mind aldent'e but they just weren't done. Chips non descript. Tbh well below normal standard. Paying £42 for 6 items. Because of how food tasted and texture of chicken most of mine ended up in the bin. Never before has that happened, wonder if they have a new chef, and it wasn't reheated

Lovely tofu dishes! Can be more expensive then other takeaway places and more costly if delivered but the food is good and delivered quickly. Having been a customer for a number of years, with only two incorrect orders being send, they dealt with these quickly and satisfactorily.
