Relaxing at home listening to some Beta Band and Atoms for Peace when I realised how amazing my set up was sounding. We always praise the artists or the engineers but seldom the dealers.

I first walked into Stone Audio 3 years ago having demoed everything the best of rest had to offer. I was looking for new bookshelf’s to replace my Castle’s. Alex was amazing and took time to guide me through a range of options that would pair with my amp and suit my budget.

I returned later to demo three pairs of speakers using my amp and media and was given plenty of space, time and freedom to play. This was so important to sit in solitude and just ‘listen’ so I could arrive at where I needed to be rather than where someone else thought I should be. I left with a pair of Linns and I’m so happy, even now!

At the start of the year, after a while researching online, we were ready to buy our first turntable and a respective set up to get the most out of the vinyl experience. Having gone to a number of shops, we came across Stone Audio, who invited us in and had a really thorough discussion of the options available to us. We didn't have a huge budget at all, as it was our first turntable set up, and I believe it was Alex who navigated us through turntables beyond what was in the showroom to accommodate this. Given we are new to the market, the advice was genuine, not patronising at all and really helpful. We ultimately came away with a fantastic turntable, but with also some advice that we will value moving forwards. A great experience and would happily return when we are due a turntable upgrade!

Just had my LP12 fully serviced by Alex at Stoneaudio. Together with the recommended upgrades, my deck plays my old vinyl with warmth and clarity unmatched by cds.
Alex clearly has a wealth of experience in hi fi separates, and talks with such passion about the products he sells.
The showroom is first class, and a must visit for hi fi enthusiast.

Stone Audio is my nearest Meridian dealer and the two hour drive was well worth it. As COVID-19 restrictions were in force we made an appointment and were met by Alex and Jason. Their outlet is an absolute Aladdin's cave of wonderful and well selected audio and visual equipment and accessories. We spent a very relaxed few hours listening to a wide variety of material, excellently guided by Alex before making our purchase. Delivery and installation was smooth and efficient.

This is the way to buy quality audio equipment and I shall be going back for more. Well done Stone Audio!

Beautiful location. Amazing place but unfortunately non existent sales technique. We were given the impression that we weren't good enough to be in there and left with nothing; except of course we were shrewd enough to pick their brains and found the exact same Pioneer amplifier in its box for £130 less in Bournemouth. We shall be purchasing it tomorrow; taking our trade elsewhere where hopefully the salesman doesn't smell quite so bad!

This is a premium store with a superb selection of high end equipment run by extremely knowledgeable staff who are prepared to invest the time required to educate and indulge serious customers and help them buy the right bespoke solution. I am so happy to have true HiFi back in my life after becoming so used to the terrible limitation on quality that iphones and similar sources dictate, I had forgotten just what music is really meant to sound like. They found me a great solution to get proper HiFi working alongside my existing High End Cinema System. The price was high but I felt I got good value and I am delighted with the results, I just wish I did it earlier. Andy in Poole.

Stone Audio helped return our damaged Systemline installation to full working order quickly and efficiently.
When the S6.2 controller sustained damage from an electrical storm, the original installers were not interested and our insurance company struggled to find anyone willing to consider a repair to the old S6.2 system. Stone Audio came, assessed the system, repaired and re-installed keeping us fully appraised throughout.
When the Wyrestorm HDMI matrix also failed a few months later we had no hesitation in contacting Stone Audio again, and once more a repair was completed quickly and cost effectively.
I have no hesitation in recommending Stone Audio and in particular the Custom Installation Manager, Jason Kill for any new installation or modification/repair of an existing one. They truly look for the best solution for the customer and have a wealth of knowledge. Outstanding.
