I was the only person in the restaurant for most of my meal though three other groups did eventually arrive. The food was reasonable and substantial and tasted good. The interior is a little gaudy and has a plastic feel.

Very nice curry house on the sea front. We were starving and the food was excellent. Most places had closed already so very lucky this place is open later than most. Great service and friendly team thank you. Recommended if you happen to be on the island.

I can't recommend this place enough. Very friendly staff, efficient service and absolutely amazing food. I ate there two nights in a row and if I had another night in Tobermory would've definitely gone back for a third. Very good flavours and fresh ingredients. Honestly one of the best Indian restaurants that I've been to in Scotland

Check your bill! Food was very good ... and then it came to the paying the bill

After the meal I went to the counter and was about to look at receipt when he quickly took it from me and told me he would give me a card receipt.

I insisted on an itemised receipt after paying almost £100 as it was quite odd his behaviour.
I was shocked to see he had added items onto our bill which he insisted we order and when we said no initially he said it would be ON THE HOUSE!
They had added sauces on for almost £5 too and this also was not mentioned when we asked him.

When I confronted him about it he played dumb and was very unhelpful. This guy also seemed to be the one in charge. What a way to run a business.

We were not served in good time after reaching and there were even others waiting before us.
I had ordered vegetable Biryani which had gone off. I didn't get an option to ask for a replacement and was given another dish with rice, poorly spiced, and odd tasting again. When we asked for the bill, it was incorrect from the original order, had to ask to rectify. Will not go again and not recommended.

Over all ok . Especially for Asians ( Indians ) after a tired trip without home food.
I tried a few items, duck was too hard and rest they said it's biryani but it's not 🤷🏻‍♂️..it's just a for fried rice with frozen meat ..well concluding with a thanks to the staff for the food ..

very nice! The staff was very kind and we all had a great meal. The food which arrived quickly was flavourful and tasty. there were loads of options to choose from which were all pretty cheap in comparison to the great quality of the food. everything was very hygienic including the bathrooms which was very nice. i definitely recommend this place if you like tasty and flavourful food and are on a budget. definitely check this place out if you are nearby!

A very enjoyable meal on a rainy arrival in Tobermory. It’s always nice to enter a restaurant and just sit without booking which seemed to be the reason why we couldn’t get in to any other place when we wanted to. The team were very friendly and welcoming during our time there, always very attentive and helpful when needed too. The choice was extensive and I think I heard a couple of other diners vary what was in the menu without any fuss. The food arrived very quickly was piping hot and very tasty. The whole meal was great value for money, relatively very reasonable and there was no pressure to tip ( which we did anyway). Despite the restaurant filling up quickly after we came service was not impacted and everyone was served promptly and seemingly without any unreasonable delay. It was refreshing to have an alternative food choice too compared to very similar menus from other establishments too.
