I called the Ulsta Ferry booking office from the ferry port in April, as I didn’t understand the timetable and got a really helpful woman who explained it all and took time to tell me how long I’d need to get through the islands and then booked us onto multiple ferries. On the actual ferry the crew were also really helpful with advice, even checking and coming back to me about what to do. So lovely to have such personal service instead of automated. Thank you

Highly efficient, reliable inter-island ferry services. User-friendly website for pre-booking space on particular crossings. Recommended for visitors to explore the full extent of Shetland. We certainly enjoyed our fortnight exploring, and the crews were always friendly.
