Avoid this place, no respect for loyal customers - 4 years we’ve used this place to store our campervan, come to take it out (we went out only last weekend too, 4th trip of the year so far so it moves frequently). To find it blocked in with huge heavy metal poles. Phoned the yard and were told to move them ourselves by hand my husband quite rightly said ‘are you joking’ basically told ‘f off’, didn’t come down themselves, instead sent someone else. Who couldn’t even move this with a machine a digger couldn’t shift it, so my husband did help the man who came to help all credit to him with it not being his business - or his poles. To half empty the stack before the digger could drag the remainder of them out the way. Not once were we apologised to, acted as if we had made an inconvenience by expecting to be able to move our van freely. Phoned back an hour later to see if management had calmed down, if they wanted our business back, being that we’ve not even had a late payment in 4 years, no such luck still told ‘not to come back’. Extremely let down by this lack of even a simple apology for something which I feel is a big inconvenience. We have missed our chance to get to our Cornwall campsite before 9pm which was required to start our holiday tonight as planned. Delayed a day, and not even an apology. All credit to the nice man who didn’t work there called in to help move things - who also admitted he’d ’be fuming’ had his van been blocked in like that! Things with overlooked during our time here hearing of break ins at this yard, and once turned up to have our space taken, we’d been ‘switched bays’ with no notice until phoning to ask why someone else was in our space. Timings on the gates changed with little to no notice too.
