We had an excellent experience when moving due to the efficiency and professionalism of this company. Bert visited to assess our needs, he kept in contact to offer support. On removal day the three gentlemen who did all the physically demanding task of loading and unloading two van loads of furniture, garden equipment etc were hardworking, helpful and good humoured. Hats off to all!

The Scotmove crew came to our home yesterday to assist in unloading a container of belongings from our home in the states. I want to say that they were outstanding...efficient, patient, hardworking and polite. Infinitely better than the crew that undertook the moving out of our things in the U.S. Actually, better than most workers I have dealt with in the U.S. Can't say enough for this company and its staff. Perfection!

Avoid this company like the plague. I used them a year ago and it was horrendous. They left my wardrobe with doors hanging off and wobbling and shelves not fitted. Infact they actually tried to fit a part upside down!!! The headboard on my bed was not secured. I was told they would bring movable wardrobes and all my clothes would be put in wardrobe before they left. My clothes were all dumped on my bed. The older man who appeared to be in charge left early and the two young guys did not have a clue and left without completing the job. When I phoned the boss his attitude was awful. The next day the older guy came and sorted the wardrobe and headboard and apologised but the boss did not have the decency to phone and see if everything had been sorted. He has no customer service skills and his young removers have no skills needed for this job.

Contacted this company as my partner had used them on two previous occasions years ago and was impressed.
Bert who I talked to on the phone seemed really friendly and organised that someone would be out between 10 and 11am to give a quote.
Now when I am told this, it's my understanding that this means the earliest they will come is 10 and the latest 11. When 11am came and went and no sign of anyone, I phoned the company. A woman answered, sounded very uninterested, and when I explained no one had shown up, her response was "well it's only just turned 11"! No apology. She then went on to say "I'm sure they are on their way".
At this point her tone, attitude and lack of customer concern sealed it for me. I told her I would not be waiting in any longer and that I would go with another company.
No follow up call or email apologising. This clearly is a company that doesn't need any business (lucky them), and I would certainly dissuade anyone from using them.
