Clean enough waiting room - at least there is one !! Seconds to Saltcoats Town centre and shops. Recommend Cafe At The Station.

A fleeting reminder of the now long gone magnificence of the railways, at least the station buildings remain here, and not demolished for two tarmac strips of dross. Has the latest style departure boards, which are rather small, and appear a little out of place with this old building. Limited hours ticket office and waiting room on the one platform. Trackbeds were strewn with litter, blighting the appearance. Very close to all the towns amenities.

Right in the middle of Saltcoats. Direct line to Glasgow. Gets your there in about 30 mins if you're on the fast train. Travel after 9am or on the weekend for 8pounds return.
