S.R. Woods & Son Management company

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the ongoing issue of black mold in our flat. Despite previous attempts to address this problem, it has resurfaced, rendering my living conditions unlivable once again.

In the winter of 2022 we expressed our concern to the company and was initially accused this was a fault of our own. As the issue became worse and inhabitable a mould specialist was sent to the property. It was clear that there was a structural defect, however, there was still arguments and refusal in agreeing to this issue. The flat became so bad that we had to move back in with our family and leave this place as we had a little baby and the black mould was severe.

The presence of black mold poses serious health risks to myself and my family, especially considering that I have a baby. It is unacceptable to continue living in such conditions, and the recurrence of the mold indicates that the problem has not been adequately resolved.

We demand immediate action to thoroughly address the mold issue from external design flaws part of the project. This includes:

1. Conducting a comprehensive inspection to identify the root cause of the mold growth.
2. Implementing effective remediation measures to completely eliminate the mold and prevent its recurrence.
3. Start immediate works on the property to resolve this ongoing issue for the past 3 years with no financial strain on the leaseholders.

Apologies it has come to this. However it is extremely frustrating and unfair. I genuinely cannot express how hard matters have been with this property, we bought this as a family home. But seems it has ended up to be nothing as we imagined.
