Just read the other reviews. It's all so true. If your parcel goes through here it's at risk of disappearing and nobody dies a thing about it. Royal Mail deserves to go out of business with performance like this!

What is wrong with this South Midlands hub?! Why do parcels disappear when they get to this centre?! I sold an item on eBay, sent it 7 days ago tracked 48 and the tracking stopped at this point! This is outrageous! People have parcels disappearing and they don't care at all and continue to ignore complaints! Are there gang members working there? Total theft that they don't even hide!

Actually, even one star is far too much for this service. After a parcel my client sent to me was incorrectly delivered to the wrong address and subsequently returned, it ended up at the South Midlands Mail Centre and then disappeared. Despite numerous conversations with customer services, they are unable to tell me where the parcel is and, quite shamelessly, they openly state that it is impossible for the parcel to be returned. Since the tracking system shows the last known location of the parcel as the South Midlands Mail Centre, we went there in desperation. The officer there claimed that the parcel had never arrived at their facility and suggested it might be in Belfast instead. It is truly heartbreaking to see a national postal service being managed so poorly.

Been waiting for a Royal Mail Tracked 24 parcel which arrived to South Midlands MC on the 25th January (19 days ago) which had a piece of jewellery in it. Tracking info not updating and hold times to call them are very long unfortunately. Think this parcel is lost forever!

Had prescription stuck here for 10 days contacted sender who said they would contact and would get a response in 72 working hours , after 5 days, apparently they often dont meet 72 hr target, sender had finally had a response it was not there so they sent replacement My advice is contact sender they can chase it up. Disgusting that it's such a frequent occurance, obviously a problem with security parcels get checked in then disappear so got to be theft

Been waiting for a week for a parcel sent "tracked 24" tracking shows it arrived at South Midlands SC a week ago. I've had parcels delivered that were sent second class sent later and arrived a couple of days later, but this one hasn't moved. I suspect it has been stolen by a member of staff, especially as I have had deliveries from this company before and it's very clear from the packaging that it's an expensive bottle (2 actually) of malt whisky. Someone has helped themselves to a nice Christmas present.😡

Order a phone from very, next day! Yes it got stuck here and order another and the same thing as gone and happened yet again. Now I'm without a phone as sold my old one. Ordered a new phone a next day for a reason

So my coin is sitting in the mail centre. It's been there for a week. I really hate having to contact the poor mug that posted it so they can make a claim and refund my money. If it goes to here you can forget about it being delivered on time. If it's 24 hour tracked it will be at least 3 days. 48 hour tracked is more like a week. Utterly terrible. Royal Mail should not be allowed to increase stamp prices if they don't hit targets.
