Awful mail centre. Lost a very important parcel. DO NOT SEND YOUR PARCELS THROUGH THIS MAIL CENTRE - go with a different company other than Royal Mail if your parcels will be routed through here. Upon reading other reviews it appears there is a major problem with this mail centre losing things - possibly some theft going on. This needs to be investigated and stopped. Will be avoiding Royal Mail from now on as they don’t seem to be doing anything about this problem.

I ordered an item via Very and paid extra for it to be delivered the next day. Unfortunately it had to pass through Romford MC. My parcel has been sitting there since Wednesday 24th July, "waiting" to be delivered. I called customer service twice last week and all they say is they will deliver tomorrow. But still no movement after days. Now I'm worried that my parcel has been stolen as it is a high value item. Royal Mail should start an investigation as this seems to be a common theme in this mail centre. It's destroying people's trust.

Parcel needs redecorating to Crawley and it has not arrived or been updated
It's the last time I ever use the royal mail in my life

Hi dear, my parcel arrived at Romford MC since June 30th and it’s not moving at all until now. During this time I called the customer service twice and received different reply. One said it should be delivered by 10th July and ask me to wait for service, the other one told me they will try to push it but the parcel should be delivered by 15th July. The only common answer I got is they cannot contact this MC to ask what is going on. And there’s no email address to approach them as well. This is truly disappointing and I still haven’t receive any information or notice from this MC or Royal Mail. If the parcel is having issue you should contact me instead of letting me just waiting. I would say this service is really untrustworthy now😭😫

They are stealing high value items there. I have posted special delivery insurance with £2500 they lost my item and they opened investigation and they never paid the money. Don’t trust them . They are thieves most of them steal items on despatch items to another office . Romford mc have big issue . They have to open big investigation as I read posts they lost many people items

My high-value parcel has been "lost" at Royal Mail Romford MC for 10 days now, when it was shipped to me using Tracked 24 service.

After reading these reviews, it seems like it's mainly high-value items that seem to go missing here. Royal Mail should do an investigation into this branch. The compensation of merely £150 covered by Tracked 24 is not nearly enough to cover the loss (or stealing) of my items, especially when the loss could be due to dishonest behaviour by RM employees.

I have since received about 3 other low-value items from Royal Mail that went through Romford MC. So it's highly suspicious that only my high-value package has not arrived.
