As with many of the other reviews, my parcel has been stuck at this depot since 10th May (currently 21st May as I write this). Having spoken to customer service, they have now automatically assumed the parcel is “missing” since it has been more than 10 days. I have problems with this policy for three reasons; 1. There is no attempt/effort to try to recover the “missing parcel”. 2. The compensation does not get close to covering the lost item. 3. This depot clearly has a track record and isn’t showing any signs of improving.

Every parcel i have on way is currently sitting at gatwick mail centre as is the normal .Whoever manages that place needs sacking selling 48h delivery and then have you take a week to ten days to deliver is plain out misselling and fraud. midlands superhub is running well customers dont need the delays gatwick mail centre instills plz close its not needed anymore lots of stolen parcels as well nine this year alone is some of your posties kitting out houses with peoples orders again naughty naughty audit needed

Like others my 24 hour tracked parcel has been stuck at this place for over a week. Either there are some thieves amongst the staff or they are incompetent and seem to lose a lot of parcels. If your parcels go through this place you best keep your fingers crossed

Had a package collected on the 2nd and paid for Tracked 24 service. Package stuck at Gatwick MC with no update since the 3rd. Customer service unable to tell me how long its going to take for delivery or any action as to why its being held at Gatwick.

Horrible. Last night 23:00 was there, 7:00am was there also, still not sending to Croydon and for gods sake it only took half an hour to take the train. Either lazy or they want to steal your parcel. Shame on Royal Mail and your useless customer service which only repeat same information. I hope I can give 0. Royal Shame 🙂

I will never use Royal Mail again for anything important EVER AGAIN. I chose this service as it was a 5-7 working day delivery to Cyprus. Fast but economical. NOT. It took from 2-7 Dec just to get from Garwick MC to Langley HWDC sorting office and is still there on the 10th. I checked online and ROYAL MAIL says I should EXPECT DELAYS - For Europe of up to 20 days AFTER the delivery period. This is to protect them against claims. I cant even make a complaint online as there is no tick box for delay or late. BEWARE THIS IS A TOXIC COMPANY. Because of this I will need to exit Cyprus and return in another 90 days. I am FURIOUS.

I regularly send and receive special deliveries which very often end up in the black hole that is Gatwick Royal Mail hub sitting there without moving for two days. If I pay for next day delivery I expect next day delivery. Whatever the problem there is it really needs to get sorted out.

Purchased urgent bearings for my bike, seller effed up and missed out parts from kit so they posted Tracked 48 last Friday 12th July 24 C. 14:25, arrived at Midlands Super Hub 13th July 24 C. 07:55, arrived Gatwick MC 14th July 24 C. 15:00. It's now the 18th.........

Bear in mind I can drive there in about 25 min if you were allowed to collect, but you can't, "it's a secure facility sir", "OK sure thing buddy, secure enough to loose my and many other people's stuff huh!".

Admittedly the guy I spoke to, after being on hold for 50 min, was as helpful as he could be, and assured me the bike parts hadn't been stollen very haistyly and defensively as soon as I asked if they were definately there and not "missing" and raised it as a "Failed Service", sadly this doesn't compensate me for a wasted £100 on bikepark wales uplift tickets, just means the sender can get his postage money back.

The Royal mail is a disgrace, there is NOTHING royal about it now, basically an INSULT to the king and dear old Elizabeth God rest her soul.

Every rider I know locally has had atleast one thing stolen as its passed through the hands of the thieving, incompetent toe-rags that somehow manage to get hired in droves at this place.

If I don't get my parts tomorrow Friday the 19th I like to extend a hearty "suckurmuddafromsideways" to all involved in this cockup and all the others cockup we know are constantly in effect on behalf of everyone who has ever had to suffer the near potato level of service from this hot wet fart of a business.

At this point it'd be more reliable, and quicker, to walk to collect parts directly, it's only about 350 miles, I may smash some glass and walk/crawl over it just to make it a bit less painful too.
