I arrived with a crate of just under 1sq metre and the staff were exceptionally helpful assisting removal from my car and even offered to help secure the lid, as yet it hasn't arrived at the Falklands but I see no reason to doubt its in good hands.

Worst company I have worked with. Arranged delivery with them to St Helena for items to be delivered for the March flight and on arriving to the customs in St Helena a number of items were missing.

On contacting Richard James Ltd they notified me that they made the independent decision to deliver the missing items by ship (none of which was stated in their terms of condition or contract) without my knowledge. Meaning these items would take 2months to arrive. Furthermore I would have left the island by then.

If I had known they had made the decision to ship the items via a ship I would not have accepted that and would have returned my products to amazon. Furthermore Richard James took no responsibility for the massive lack of communication on their part and instead shifted the blame on me not notifying them that I was leaving the island on May (which was none of their business and especially since I clearly marked all items to be delivered via Airmail). If items were not liable for air travel they should have stated this and left the items in the UK instead of making an independent decision to get them on a ship over 2 months without my knowledge.

They stated they would assist in shipping the goods back to UK (these goods cost over £600) but have since ignored my emails in review of this. Very bad service and unable to take any responsibility. Do not arrange shipping with them. Following this and speaking to other islanders there has been issues with the company, I wish I had known sooner.

If you can avoid this company,please do. There is another individual that can arrange shipping to St Helena if needed who is reported more reliable, trustworthy and efficient. Save yourself the hassle.
