The railway station at Prees (on the border between Shropshire and Wales), has a railway level crossing nearby.

There are two platforms at Prees railway station, one is for northbound trains heading towards Nantwich, whilst the other platform is for southbound trains heading towards Shrewsbury and beyond.

It appears to me, that Prees railway station is a quaint little place that is kept clean and tidy, and also has covered shelters where passengers can wait for the trains heading towards Nantwich or Shrewsbury.

Someone has taken the effort to display a number of flower boxes around the platforms which adds a nice touch to the feel of the place.

There does not appear to be anywhere for people to leave their bicycles, and it should also be noted that there is no official car parking spaces. Even so, there is a gravelled area near the northbound platform where passengers can be dropped off or picked up from.

Train station that is operated by Transport for Wales and they stop the trains there - it is a request stop - so if on the train advise the train manager that you wish to alight and if on the platform then indicate to the driver that you wish to stop

It has no facilities and has a level crossing - either buy the ticket before hand or on the train

Platforms are at a different levels so be careful of a bigger drop than normal - can be avoided by being in the correct carriage
