Needs updating, to provide a better customer experience (like other ports). Toilets and bins available post customs 🛃 in the waiting area. Needs clearer access for cyclists.

Well run and organised port. I went through as a foot passenger for the first time and it's very much like going through an airport security wise. Clear concise instructions were given so I was in no doubt where to go.

Went on a small 'cruise' which lasted roughly 2 hours and went around the sandbanks, Studland, and just a couple miles off Swanage, which contained some amazing views with the sunset. It felt surreal and is an amazing experience if you ever get the chance.

At 5.45am, the terminal was very quiet. We were down on the ferry, being placed near the lifts. I am disabled. Checked on our dog and went to our seats. Ferry terminal staff very efficient.

This was our first trip to France on a ferry taking our car. The process is extremely slick and you are directed where to go at each step of the way. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We were on the ferry and eating breakfast quickly. Definitely easier than flying!

Brittany ferries is the way to go. The service at passport control was first class. No issues at all. Everyone was friendly from the receptionist to the people guiding you to a place in the queue for the ferry.
We had a place in the special club lounge which treated us to copious amounts of coffee ☕ī¸.
Well worth the money as the seats were far more comfortable than in the main thoroughfare. Lots of food to purchase on the ship.
Effortless and civilised is the best way to describe the experience. On landing simple passport check and we were on our way 😀.

Not enough staff to process the number of people coming off a ferry. Staff were polite and good but we queued for quite a while. It might be sensible to process motor homes in a separate queue as they often take longer to process.
Also Poole is a bit of a nightmare to find your way out of!
