Rudest shop owner I have ever met. I walk dogs in the villages around Salisbury and usually shop owners are lovely and welcoming, provide me with water and a loo to use. But today I was meeting a new dog in Pitton and didn't know where the house was so parked by the shop. I had no idea I was blocking 'parking spaces' and came back to an aggressive note on my car then she came out to confront me. She yelled and snapped, despite me apologising and admitting to my mistake. I much prefer the shop owners in Broughton and suggest you go there instead.

I first reviewed Pitton PO six years ago and this Post Office Stores is still here and serving the village. Throughout Covid, it kept going being the heart and soul of the community despite the challenges the proprietor was also facing. A great little PO shop/newsagent at the centre of the village and very much at its heart. Can be busy at school drop off/pick up times though, so be patient and keep a smile on your face! Support your local Post Offices or lose them.
