So apparently during and emergency the tax paying citizens of Pinellas county cannot count on emergency assistance. We have a live wire parking and sparking in our neighborhood and when I called 911 was told that emergency services have been suspended. We are not in a mandatory evacuation zone and this is unacceptable! Whomever made this rash incomprehensible decision should be investigated and terminated! We get it it's dangerous because of the hurricane but we are now on the backside of the storm with some wind and light rain. Nice to know you can count on your public officials in a time of need! I pray that house down the street does not catch fire and I hope and pray that everyone in the vicinity is safe!
