Very Poor Service from ParcelForce
The courier tried to deliver my eBay parcel twice, but I wasn’t informed in any way no emails, no messages. I only found out a week later on eBay, by checking the tracking info myself.
Both times, the tracking said a card was left with further instructions. No card was ever left.
Now the website says I should collect the parcel myself, but doesn’t say where or how. No contact info, no clear guidance just confusion.
Worst delivery experience I’ve had in years. Really disappointing.

I've been trying to get a parcel delivered for weeks now.

First they managed to change the address to a London address which took a while to sort and get sent to Bristol

Since then they have claimed to have attempted delivery and left a card. A card has never been left and I was at home one of those days. So I am doubtful they actually tried.

I still have not received my Parcel

Absolutely useless and I will avoid buying from any vendors who use them in the future.

Beyond useless.

I had a parcel sent to me from Australia and it was handed to Parcel Force for the UK leg. They didn’t notify either me or the sender that they would be handling the delivery in the UK so I followed the tracking for Aus Post.

I waited weeks until finally finding out the parcel was with Parcel Force - at which point they said that delivery was attempted once (no card was left) and not only has my parcel been sitting in the Bristol depot for 2 weeks but it’s now being sent back to the sender in Australia.

I called customer service and they said, even though no card was left and nobody told me it was at the depot to collect, there was nothing they would do about it and no compensation.

Delivery was only attempted once. No card was left so I’m not even convinced they did try to deliver it. No notification to me or the sender that it was at the depot. Now I’m £40 out of pocket to get a parcel delivered which is now just circling the planet.

I’d hate to say what has already been said, but ParcelForce is a hot mess! I had something delivered from overseas and was notified of its arrival to the UK by letter. After paying the clearance fee and taking a look at the tracking, I’d come to find out that it has been there for a week before I was notified. Regardless, I had it scheduled to be delivered the next day.

Next day rolls around and it’s now past the expected delivery time. I take a look at the tracking app and it says that the driver was unable to locate the house. So naturally I ring them up and when I finally get to a human operator, they tell me that apparently the location is closed down My house Surely that’s not right. I check google maps, giving them the benefit of the doubt, and there is a location with the same name as my house closed down - in an entirely different post code. The driver didn’t even look at the address on the parcel!!!

Whatever, mistakes happen. So the operator says that he can have it delivered to my local post office the following day, and it’s not there, despite the fact that a ParcelForce had already been there. There are two Post Offices near by, so I assume that the operator maybe misspoke, and I went to the next one. Nothing there.

I try ringing them up, and now the parcel number isn’t processing past the automated operator and there is no option to speak to an actual person!!!

So frustrating.

absolutely terrible service.

i used parcel force to move my stuff from my university accommodation to back home and it was absolutely awful i’ve had my stuff stolen/damaged and completely destroyed my tv worth £300 DESTROYED and they refuse to pay compensation for it as ‘tv glass’ does not cover insurance. SO WHAT AM I PAYING IT FOR?!!

my apple watch STOLEN - i’m unable to track it since it’s been dead they also removed everything from one of my boxes that i packaged and placed it all in a new one. they’ve basically been rummaging through my things.

over £100 of perfume wrapped perfectly in bubble wrapping and and placed in a soft lined material cardboard box completely smashed and destroyed which they also refuse to pay for if i could give parcel force 0 stars i would.

i don’t usually leave reviews but this is definitely the worst service i’ve received for a package. unfortunately no one was in the first time they tried to deliver so i rearranged delivery to the following wednesday as i was staying away from home. they apparently decided to redeliver anyway before my chosen date despite ALSO sending a text in which i confirmed i’d like it to be redelivered in two working days. it’s now apparently being held at the depot which is about 40 minutes away for me to travel.

edit: i have since travelled to the depot and was met with very helpful staff, leading me to believe the main problem is with the website for this delivery service. i would happily give the in person service more stars but for this experience overall it still makes me want to avoid dealing with this delivery company again.

Do not use parcel force unless you have no other choice.

They attempted to deliver to me Wednesday but no one was home so they left a card. I used the website to arrange to pick my parcel up from the Bristol depot but then they tried to deliver Thursday. Again I tried to arrange collection. Again they tried to deliver Friday and I missed it.

Finally the tracking said my parcel was being held at the depot for collection. A family member went to pick it up for me today but was told it was out for delivery. She asked why as I had requested collection and was told that they were trying to get as many parcels out as possible.

The tracking updated to say my parcel was out for delivery. It is now last 9 at night and the tracking still says it is out for delivery and due to be delivered today. I very much doubt this is true and have no idea where my parcel is. If they had just done the one thing they were asked to do I would already have my parcel.

To top it off they kept the two missed delivery cards my relative took to the depot. I don't know why. Fortunately I still have the third. Not once during this while process were we ever given a delivery window. I guess all I can do is hope I eventually get my parcel or am allowed to collect it.

Absolutely disgusting service. Been waiting over a week for my parcel, they “attempted” to deliver 4 times and just take it back to depot when no one’s is home. This company needs to be shut down, appalling really.
