This company are amazing! I can’t recommend them highly enough. The differences between Painless Removals and others I have previously used (including a big national firm also beginning with P) are huge and very welcome. We had a difficult and stressful two-stage move, affected by grief, having to leave a rental property at short notice, unexpected problems with building work in the house we were moving to and pressure from stamp duty changes meaning more people were moving than normal and removal and clearance companies were extra busy. Jay came out in person to collect a careful quote - he looked in every cupboard. At relatively short notice Painless made time to pack and moved us out in March. They then kept our things in storage at a very reasonable rate until our house was ready for them to move us in. Pete, Isaac, Jeremiah, Mike and Sam (sorry if I missed anyone) were all amazing! I have never experienced anything like it. Warmth, care, support, kindness, patience and flexibility throughout. Everything was carefully packed. They carefully disassembled and reassembled furniture (and even part of a door frame) when needed. Things we didn’t want to keep were cleared away as part of the move. Nothing was damaged or lost. Communication was excellent at all times. I had been dreading this move and came into it extremely stressed, but moving with these guys was a pleasure. Despite everything, our Painless removal was as painless as moving house can possibly get. In fact I have lasting happy memories. Thank you so much to all of you - I can’t thank you enough! Claire

Fantastic service! The guys were great with moving our stuff, especially when things didn't go to plan on moving day due to an issue with our exchange/completion. Pete and the team were very understanding and helped us out with storage of our items until the issue resolved a day later (something I know any other company would not have so understanding or helpful!) All the guys are very friendly and professional and I would highly recommend them!

We used Painless Removals a couple of weeks ago to move from Bristol. We cannot fault the service they provided. Their quote was reasonable, packing instructions were clear. The movers on the day were sublime, considerate and friendly. Even with a massive hiccup, thanks to Barclays Bank crashing, meaning a delay on completion, the team at Painless really were, Painless!

This is the most accurately named business, and its rates are very good (with no extra insurance costs). Most importantly, the level of communication was fantastic. We inevitably had some challenges with timings, but Jay was always available on the phone and helped ensure everything went smoothly!

We had the full packing service, and it’s just unbelievable how quickly and efficiently they packed everything, labelled all the boxes based on room and contents, and did it in a few hours, even while we continued to work. I 100% recommend this!

On moving day, they efficiently removed everything from the house. We had a slight delay in getting keys, but once we were in, a few hours later, everything was back in the right room without any fuss, damages, or issues, and the furniture was remade. It was all done by 5 p.m.! A couple of days later, they picked up the boxes.

What a great team, and I would recommend without hesitation!

Fantastic movers. Very aptly named! I'm disabled not cause I had a stroke last year so I decided to get movers for my move and they were absolutely great. They literally did everything, packed my whole flat and were lovely guys! I just sat on the sofa and did some work while they packed away my whole flat. Really great movers, lovely people, cannot recommend enough.
