Great Service . . ordered yesterday using the promotional "free delivery" option and had a problem with the website accepting the code for free delivery, so mailed and queried this- got a response immediately the same evening - out of working hours - and the problem was sorted out when they called me back this morning so that I could successfully place the order and get the promotional free delivery. This was excellent service - a small hitch resolved on first contact with a proactive phone call back and a few helpful emails was brilliant. If only other companies could do this when things do not go according to plan . . . and the all important delivery will arrive tomorrow.
I should add that I have ordered for postal delivery previously and the goods come well packed in a very sturdy box-great company to deal with and highly recommended.

We ordered Alnwick Rum and Holy Island Gin, plus two really nice gin glasses to go to our friends in Barrow for their anniversary.
The on site ordering was easy (once we made our choice, with so many options available, that wasn’t easy).
Naturally I got the delivery address wrong, but this was easily and very kindly changed in minutes by Stephen.
Unfortunately on delivery, our friends told us about the broken glass. Katrina had a replacement sorted out within the first hour of Monday morning.
It’s a beautiful, personal gift that has been amazingly well received and will definitely use Northumbrian Gifts again.

I made an order for some fudge and mead for Father's Day. I then emailed asking if it would be possible for me to send some extra money across to bump the delivery cost up to next day delivery.

I was greeted with a lovely phone call from Stephen explaining that I didn't need to send any money across and as I was local I could have had free delivery if I had spent over £25. Having missed out Stephen sent me some free 'Coals from Newcastle' along with my order. I received the order quickly and was hand delivered by Malcolm.

I'll definitely be ordering again in the future and will be snagging that free delivery next time too! 😊

I ordered the beer and proper posh snacks as a gift. It came today and I am absolutely delighted with it. Beautifully gift packaged and delivered exactly as expected. I had a problem with my order (my own fault) and Stephen went above and beyond to sort it out for me. Probably the best customer service I have ever experienced. I thoroughly recommend this company - don't hesitate to order you won't be disappointed. I will definitely be ordering again.

This shop has been an absolute find after I received a hamper from my daughter I decided to look company up for there cheese biscuits, caramelised onion cheese and red onion relish for which I ordered but being new to online I ordered it a 3 orders and they rang to reimburse me packaging very honest and lovely staff,will definitely be ordering again and highly recommend.
