So annoying how during the week it’s only open 8-10am, I work all week and am at work during those hours. It’s not right, whenever I need to send a parcel back or collect one I have to wait till Saturday and if I’m busy Saturday I have to wait again as they’re only open till 12 Saturday too! What a joke of service, open like other companies for god sake !

Absolute joke. Postman would rather spend time to write the card saying nobody was in, than to slip a SMALL LETTER through my post box. To waste even more of my time, by rearranging delivery to a post office and actually go there to collect it myself. They are trying to be clever, they are now doing their job all of a sudden. Royal peasants. I'd give a 0 star.

Just to concur with most other reviews on here. Royal Mail is not fit for purpose in the current day. They had my parcel and loaded on the van for delivery according to their tracking, didn't deliver my parcel but delivered a letter then sent me an email to say they had a request not to deliver to my address. From who? This is not the first time this type of thing has happened with them and like everyone else say's they won't leave a parcel and its almost impossible to collect because of the ridiculous two hour collection window they allow. Recommend using any other delivery company.

Haven't had any post for the last two days, no postman has been round, I have letters turn up a month later so any appointments I have sent through via post I end up missing because I am unaware of them. It is getting ridiculous.

Lovely, friendly man served me. It was quite difficult to find and the parking was a nightmare. But I didn't have to wait long and it provides a good service.

The only delivery service that won’t leave the customer item in a safe place or return with the item for a second attempt on the day the card stated ?‍♂️ Most people work between 9 to 5 . Therefore unlikely to be home and unlikely to be able to collect unless out of work . Are Royal Mail trying to be annoying or trying to be clever! Royal Mail are now mainly a ‘Collect your own stuff Service’ . We tend to use more professional delivery services

My son came down at 11am today to collect an item and it was closed, yet it says open until 2pm on website. There is normally an 18 day limit on saving items, so as he has tried to collect it within that time frame, this item better not be discarded! Also, why is it that post to and from Newton Abbott and the Torbay area seems to take a day longer than everywhere else in the country? It's quicker to post something to the Isle of Mann or Isle of Wight than it is to post something to Newton Abbott. Strike all you want, but if you aren't doing the job you are being paid to do, you are being overpaid.
