Utterly useless Post Office service here, avoid at all costs.

I purchased Tracked 24 online, came in with my parcel, posted at 10:00 AM the same day. It is 3 days later and I am looking at the tracking, showing the item is still sitting there in this shop.

The person I handed it to looked and seemed quite hapless, so I really should have known. It is never even busy in there (I work nearby), there is no excuse for this.

Frustratingly the item was a gift and should have arrive on the person's birthday, now it's not as special.

Awful experience at the post office this morning. The man who served me (I think his name was Robert) was incredibly rude from the start. When I said I wanted to deposit cash, he snapped, “I can’t be bothered to count it, it’ll take too long.” I told him to take his time, but he was fuming the whole time, clearly angry for no reason. When my card got declined (I’d forgotten it was frozen), I politely asked to try again. He refused and said, “I can’t be bothered again, I refuse service.” I was shocked by how mean and dismissive he was. I ended up going to another counter just to avoid more hostility.

AVOID! Fraud!!
Awful and rude service at post office.

The staff called me ‘an idiot’, when I questioned when he overcharged me on ‘2nd class large letter for up to 250g’ for £2.8, while per Royal Mail app it should be £1.8.

He ripped out the postage labels from my letters and refused to serve me and ask me go to another post office.

Well stocked, individual envelopes for sale which is always welcome. Only accessible by stairs so not wheelchair or pram friendly. Below a convenience store. Doesn't have the self service machines.

Best post office ever.
I had to go to the New Oxford Street post office twice in one month, both of which Nitin served me.

I didn’t just have 1 parcel to send to multiple addresses. I had over 30. Nitin had absolutely no issues with printing individual postage stickers for each and ensuring my parcels went out safely. He did it with so much patience and even managed the growing line with fellow customers amazingly, so that they weren’t waiting too long to run their postal errands. Thank you Nitin!!!! Forever grateful for you.

Waited in a queue for 15 minutes with a heavy parcel to be told "we're not royal mail"...gave the guy the benefit of the doubt and asked if he knew where I could drop it off to be interrupted with a blunt "no" and proceeded to call the next person over!

Don't waste your time going here, extremely rude staff and also not accessible for wheelchairs/prams etc

I work in customer service and empathise with how rubbish it can be, but there's no excuse for being so rude.
