I apologise for being so slow at sending in this review for Keith and the other guy ( sorry can’t remember his name ) who were wonderful in helping my son and I move from our north Edinburgh home to my late mums home in leith Edinburgh on Monday 2nd September 2024. I was very nervous and anxious about the move as we had been in our house for 23 years but Keith was there every step of the way to make our home removal smooth and painless. The 2 guys were absolute troopers inspite of the horrible wet weather and they got stuck In with the removal. Nothing was a bother to them and they were so helpful in putting the furniture and items where we had requested them to go. We just hired Move8Removals for our recent home move and they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We had a lot to move and some large and heavy items but they efficiently dealt with all of it. The four team members were friendly and enthusiastic throughout which made the whole move more enjoyable. Would really recommend Move8 Removals for relocating and moving your entire home’s worth of belongings. We recently relocated from Edinburgh to Manchester and booked Move8 for packing service and removal after seeing their good reviews online. Robert, Darren, David and Ross were all fantastic at helping us manage a stressful move, especially as we also have a small baby. They moved our furniture and other items from a 3rd floor tenement flat to our new house, with care, precision and attention to detail. Our belongings were well looked after and safely delivered. The job was a tough one with a lot of stairs, but the team smiled throughout and remained committed to the job at hand and communicated well with us throughout. Thank you again for all your hard work and for taking the stress out of moving!

Keith and Dave were absolutely fantastic on our moving day.
Everything was moved with care, mattresses, TVs and wall art were all placed into protective sleeves before being moved and placed in the vans. Larger items were disassembled and then reassembled at the new house which was a huge plus.
Any problems that came up were dealt with swiftly and everything was done to ensure that any stresses we had were kept to a minimum.
Highly recommended Move8Removals and would use again!

I had not moved home for 22 years so this was a daunting experience and had lots of possessions to take to new home. Keith came out to give me a quote and was not phased at all by the number of boxes. So on removal day I had no anxiety as they arrived on time, were very careful with my belongings especially the fragile ones. It just went smoothly. They took my items to my new home and gave us a chance to look around so we didn’t feel pressurised to just unload and when we did we directed into the rooms. The day I had been dreading was made easy by these guys who made sure it was one less stress for me. As I won’t be moving again I can but only highly recommend and praise for being professional and reliable. We even had a laugh and who can say that on removal day.

First class service from start to finish. Kept up to date before the move and during. Staff were punctual, polite and courteous. Nothing was a problem. They dismantled beds from old house to new house without fuss. Would highly recommend Move8Removals.
