Avoid this post office if you actually want your parcels to be sent!

I dropped off a £280 ASOS return with the postmaster, Adi. Weeks later, ASOS contacted me saying they hadn't received it. I followed up with Adi, who said he'd look into it and get back to me.
The next day, my parcel was very conveniently "delivered back to the post office" by DPD. Adi sent me a photo of it & I pointed out that there was no pre-paid label on the parcel (only the one ASOS put on when originally sending it to me) so clearly, it had never been sent in the first place. His response was that I should file a compensation form.

DPD then delivered the parcel back to my house the very next day. Adi then insisted on telling me that they had delivered it to him and they agreed to pick it up the next day and deliver it to my house, which makes ZERO sense.

I raised a formal complaint with the Post Office. They advised me that they’d spoken to Adi, who denied everything and claimed I told him the parcel was damaged—completely false.

The most frustrating part was that I couldn’t find my receipt as proof and the post office don’t have any records you have sent anything if you use a pre-paid label.
So, not only did Adi fail to send the parcel, he lied about it too. Now I’m stuck with £280 worth of clothes I don’t want.

Honestly had a few bad experiences here. Younger newer member of staff just can’t be bothered to be there, threw my parcel on the floor after applying label, also quite rude and abrupt. These guys also lost a parcel of mine after I used a prepaid label, it wasn’t labelled properly and got lost in RM system. Other times I came here it was randomly shut in the middle of the day for no reason. Plenty of reasons to never go back.

Refuses valid postage stamps on parcels. Staff need training, non barcoded Christmas stamps and commemorative stamps have no expiry date. Really poor service and very poorly trained staff, complaint raised with the Post Office. A simply check on Royal Mail website will educate you.
