The team helped me recover my phone that I lost on one of their buses... down side had to drive 5hrs to collect maybe look at drivers bringing back lost and found items to city of boarding when on a trip and if customer does not show up then they can drive to Scotland... Just a thought.

Honestly, I'm sick of this horrible excuse of a bus service. Going to be calling up later anyways to make a formal complaint but thought I'd leave this here for others to see!

Went to get the 7a on Tuesday due at 6pm. I had been waiting around 10 mins in the dark, middle of ferguslie, not exactly where I'm wanting to be for long, especially in the cold. I had been on the phone to my partner when the bus approached so I put my hand out and got ready to step on as the bus was slowing down. Before the doors get to the stop, the driver speeds off and leaves me there. Still on the phone to my partner who is at Asda, I ask him to stop the bus and ask the driver for his driver number so I could put in a complaint. He stops the bus and my partner explains that the driver drove right past me even after seeing me and slowing down when approaching the stop, he asks the driver for his driver number. He refuses to give him it. When asking the driver what excuse be had for driving past me, the driver lied and told my parter that he apparently "asked me 3 times where I was going." When my partner told him he had been on the phone to me the entire time the driver had nothing to say other than that he wasn't going to give his driver number. This is horrible serivce and there's no excuse for it. Get your drivers sorted. As a young woman who literally gets mistaken for a child it's pretty concerning that a driver would do something like that.

*edit* called up today and the woman I spoke to was absolutely lovely, took down all my details and explained the complaint process. I'm glad to see that customer service on that end is good!

So a McGills bus decided to drive up Wallace street which is a one way street by the way last night in Glasgow (tradeston) around 11pm-11.15pm where house of sher is, he drove down Paterson street and should have turned right as it’s a right turn only, at the Lexus, CDW car showrooms, but no he made an illegal left turn, sort your drivers, that could have been real messy as the lights just turned green for the heavy diverted traffic coming off the M8 motorway 😡

Terrible drivers for just pulling out without indicating. Also a stout bald driver that tried arguing out as I drove up alongside him

Show up on time
, stop cancelling busses, fix the holes in the roof of the bus so people aren't sitting on wet seats being dripped on for the whole journey, why constantly change routes and stop the journey early. Me an a load of other people were but off the bus half way because the window wipers were stuck on. You can drive with these running. Stop driving past bus stops that your supposed to stop at.

Yesterday I was 45 mins late to work as the bus was 20 mins late and then 2 showed up so the drivers need to gab for another 10. Then random 5 minute stops for the dri er to use their phone. Challenge people.who are vaping and drinking on the service. Your always sitting in a cloud of smoke and the drivers do nothing.

I could go on with all the problems I have faced this year but using your service is depressing enough.

There are a lot of tourists in the city. It would be nice if the drivers were trained so that they might understand that not everyone gets everything straight away. There are some very rude/unfriendly drivers on the road.
Then the journey with the modern electric buses would really be a nice experience.

My phone fell out of my pocket whilst on the nos 23 bus on Saturday 3rd September. Can't thank both the man at reception at Inchinnan depot and the driver of the Nos 26(I 5019) Both were excellent as I was tracking my phone via Google Find My Device as it travelled back and forth from Glasgow to Paisley on Sunday morning. Thanks to them I was reunited with Phone at Renfrew cross. Driver had searched and found it wedged under seat.

By far one of the worst bus services in the UK, if not Europe, that I have ever had the displeasure of using. The sooner local councils nationalise the bus network, the better. McGill's needs to be ended
