Convenient, the parking spaces outside are free at weekends although there arent many of them.

Loads of undercover space for waiting.

The ladies toilets however had no lock on the door and the tap barely worked so it was hard to wash may hands. There was only one toilet. Good that it was provided but it wasnt great.

The train to Sudbury is too long for the platform, so travel in the first two coaches for ease of getting off!

Fine for drop offs (20 mins) though why is so much parking reserved for council officials?! Very dangerous with high speed trains coming through and steep steps to cross over platforms. Nice little waiting room for the train to Sudbury / Ipswich

Drop off at entrance, bike racks, super small scooter/motorbike parking area. Insufficient car parking for what is a fairly busy station. Very well kept and pleasant. Nice staff but often unmanned. No turnstiles. Automated ticket machine. Limited bus connections. Light refreshment booth. Both open and Limited covered passenger waiting areas.

Sort out disabled access and stupid steps down steps up from the footbridge. Bet Anglia paid £2m+ for the Sudbury train but couldn't extend the platform by 10ft so all the doors can be used. Staff nice.

Lovely little station with plenty of parking and toilet facilities. The ticket lady was very helpful in explaining that you could pay for parking within 24 hours.....which saved us missing our train.

The branch line comes in from small Suffolk and Essex towns. Elderly passengers and disabled folk often can not get their luggage over the bridge for London bound trains

I frequently visit Marks Tey on the way to Sudbury and it is a nice little station, there's a ticket office there where you can buy coffee and snacks.

There's a toilet at the station too if you need to go whilst waiting for your next train.
