Scammers who charge 50p to print a QR code label. No other post office does this and this is some scam they are doing to make money out of people.

Be aware at this post office they are selling out of date stamps .I sent a letter and the recipient had a card from royal mail which said to recieve the letter they would need to pay £5 .when asked why they said the stamp was out of commition and the the post office was selling out of date stamps .Not only that but the old man serving in the shop hasn't got any idea what he is doing.He should have retiered 10 years ago he never gets anything right .i blame the owners .Anything for cheap labor

Both times I posted items from this Post Office by dropping them off at the counter, the items have gone missing and remain undelivered after months... even though they were guaranteed next day delivery service. Also, unlike other post offices, this place do not update their tracking systems - if I'm not in when something is being delivered, I'll collect from the post office the next day but continue to receive messages weeks later suggesting I still haven't picked it up, which just goes to show that processes are not being followed or systems are not being used properly. Plus - as others say - the quality of customer service at the counter is poor.

I’ve always found the owners to be polite and courteous. People leaving reviews here are very impatient. This is a village post office that has to serve a large, growing community. People these days want to be in and out, I understand that. However, if would be more of a inconvenience if the post office was not there at all. Everyone should lighten up and be thankful for what we have got. Good work post office.

Great post office overall has all the services you would expect from a post office. With often only one person serving the waiting times can get quite long. They sell a great range of sweets and nib nabs great for the kids. They also have a good selection of magazines and alcohol. Needs to be more parking space available as can get very busy.

I have been sending parcels regularly, with no issues when sending from Leicester or other offices. Then I moved to Markfield and my experience is shocking with this office. Every 10 or so parcels, one or two always go missing. Is becoming depressing not being able to trust the office with a normal second or first class. Now I have to send all of them tracked to make sure that I can ask for compensation if they disappear. and no, I don't think they are lost in traffic because as I said, I've used other offices with no problems before.

Uninterested staff. Standing there whilst waiting to be served at the PO. After a few minutes of standing there, I go to make my presence known and the chap at the counter is shirty about it. Happy to make you wait but god forbid you speak up. If you don't like dealing with the public, get a job in a warehouse.
