This is a beautiful hotel and perfect place to stay if playing at Royal Troon. We were upgraded to a jr suite which was lovely and also enjoyed a half day spa experience. All staff were very hard working and accommodating. Highly recommend the fish and chips in the Seal and also the cheese plate on the desserts menu (actually makes a great lunch). This is a wonderful place where we’d love to return.

We stayed for two nights with our dog in this lovely hotel. It was very comfortable, clean and relaxed. It is located next to the 18th hole of Royal Troon Golf Course, with amazing views over the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Arran. The weather was glorious so we were able to sit out on the terrace overlooking Arran and enjoy gin and tonics with spectacular sunsets!|The hotel was restored in 2020 and has retained its early to mid 20th century style and decor to great effect. The bar area is very comfortable. It has a pool table and TV, which was showing the Masters Golf Tournament as one would expect at Royal Troon. Dogs and their owners eat in the bar area. Our lad had a great time with lots of friends made! It is a fantastic hotel for dogs! The food for humans was lovely; inventive menus, beautifully presented in good size portions. |Above all the staff were the stars of the visit. Friendly, helpful to the end, always at hand and obvious dog-lovers! The service was excellent and everything was done with a smile.|The cost of our stay was very reasonable given the quality of the accommodation, food and service. It is rated as a four-star hotel but could easily be five-star, though that might change the character and introduce a level of pretension, which was, thankfully, entirely absent. We will definitely return!

Wonderful place to pop in for lunch or enjoy a glass of wine. Staff extremely welcoming and attentive. The views from the bar & restaurant over the 18th hole of Royal Troon, the sea and Ailsa Craig is spectacular...in any weather! Chill vibe in the bar. Nice lunch menu although a review of more imaginative vegetarian options would be welcomed. Professional and 5 star service.

Myself and my partner stayed here a couple of months ago as part of their valentines package. We had an absolutely amazing time, the staff were so friendly and could not be more helpful. The food and drink in the hotel was also brilliant! A personal highlight was getting breakfast served to the room which was extremely convenient for my pregnant partner. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Marine Troon. The hotel is stunning and beautifully located next to the golf course and the sea. The staff were excellent—attentive and always happy to help.

Our double room was spacious, well-decorated, and had a large, comfortable bed, with a gorgeous view of the golf course. The only downside was that the shower occasionally ran cold.

The hotel’s spa and wellbeing facilities were fantastic, including a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, gym, and squash court. As part of our package, we each had a 55-minute spa treatment, which was lovely.

Breakfast was nice, with a great continental selection including pastries, fruit, cereal, toast, meats, cheeses, and fresh juice. Guests can also order a hot dish, which arrived quickly and piping hot. We had the Scottish breakfast and the smoked salmon with eggs, both of which were tasty and well-prepared. However, the Scottish breakfast could have been a bit better (I wasn’t a fan of the sausage), and it would be great if they offered black pudding as an option instead of haggis. Overall, a good breakfast experience with plenty of variety.

We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

The dining room, bar and rooms are exquisite (food fabulous) and the staff are exceptional - they cannot do enough for you. Highly recommend.

On the pricier side for a pool/spa/gym membership, but well worth it. Great, well-maintained facilities. The pool has a sauna, steam room, hot tub, plenty of loungers, floaty toys, and a huge window facing the beach. There are certain adult-only hours which are listed on the website. Super relaxing and luxurious, and they even provide towels. The gym has every machine I can think of, a wide range of loose dumbbells, kettle bells, step platforms, etc, and a squash room. There is a timetable of various exercise classes. Smaller towels are available for the gym as well. Lovely staff who will greet you like a friend, gorgeous location, generally not too busy. Restaurants within the hotel are again not the cheapest but very good. Be aware if you are disabled you may need to wait for access to the dedicated changing room as families tend to use it, despite it not being advertised as a family changing room. On the plus side your carer gets free entry and the staff go above and beyond to accomodate your needs. Any problems I've reported have been quickly and efficiently dealt with
