After just under 4 years keeping stock and operating my business out of Makespace, I have sadly left. During my time there, I have been looked after by the whole team in more ways than i can mention. They go the extra mile to look after their customers, and I honestly wouldn't have been able to run my business without them. I'll miss the team, but i'll always recommend people use them. Our business Best Model Toy auctions has had our storage and workspace at Make Space Storage for nine months now. The facility is always kept clean and orderly. It’s really helpful that the staff will take packages whilst we are not on-site and supervise collections from couriers and at times our clients. Professionally run and courteous staff.

I'm refurbishing my 3 bed cottage and needed to clear out as much "stuff" as possible. I donated quite a lot to local charities and took even more for recycling - the clutter you build up eh? I took a 35 sq ft (3.25 sq m) space at Horsham and also borrowed the free van to move in. The van was larger than I expected (to say the least!) so was easily big enough for the household contents I was planning to initially store - see pic below. I'm told I can "downsize" to a smaller space but I may decide to use the existing space to store a few more things (I'd bring by car as I live locally) once I've taken stock of my "now much more empty" property. I have a keypad code and was given my own padlock and key so I can come and go as I please - during opening hours.

I had dropped in to look at the space after I had booked it all up (including use of van) by phone. The "paperwork" on the day was dead easy and I was charged a £250 deposit on the van. I returned the van undamaged within the "half day" free use (topped up with the diesel I had used) and my first month's rent was taken from that deposit (as I had asked) and the balance returned to my card. Subsequent rental and insurance will be by direct debit.

The staff I dealt with (by phone, email or in person) were friendly and helpful and the storage facilities, parking and access are absolutely fine.

I could ping this company 1 star because I had a problem using their web app from my laptop - but I've reported that and I'm sure it will be looked into. So 5* from me!

P.S. Top Tip! You can get so much stuff into a relatively small space if you pack it carefully in stackable plastic or cardboard boxes.

I cannot recommend Makespace Horsham enough we have used many storage facilities over the years but this is definitely the best. We have had our lockup here for three years now and it is very safe and secure and kept immaculately clean. They offer the use of a free van when you first move your things in which is such a benefit. But what also sets it above other storage companies is the very happy helpful staff always on hand to help and Coral is an absolute diamond 😊

The Make Space storage facility is clean and easy to use, with ample parking spaces, plenty of trolleys and a large lift. The photo is of a 25m sq space, and this gave us plenty of room to store our things while preparing to move home. The team are always happy to help and were friendly from start to finish. They honoured their best price guarantee, and also provided a no-minimum-spend voucher to use in their shop for packing supplies. Ryan in particular went above and beyond to kindly accommodate me when I was running late to get to the facility before closing time on a Sunday, during what had been a stressful time. I would highly recommend Make Space in Horsham.
