It's like Santa's sweetie shop for men and difficult to resist a purchase, ha ha.
I returned today with my generator, which I couldn't get to start. They were very diligent in looking for the problem before it was sent away for a check over and repair. Luckily, it was just a slight problem with the oil level, topping it up sorted the problem. Thank you very much to the lads there.

Telephoned Doncaster branch who had one in stock . They reserved it for me to pick up the next day . Delighted with the service and love the vice .

found a hand die set with a 3/8 threader that I had struggled to find anywhere without a long delay. Checked at national and local hire shops but that actual size just not available. Interestingly if the tool had been available it was cheaper to buy from machine mart than to hire for a day! They also emailed me a vat receipt as asked for ... cant ask for more than that

Love Machine Mart, great selection of tools including powered, air and hand tools. Great selection of large workshop tools too from belt sanders, pillar drills to machine lathes and bench grinders.
My only issue is they generally only sell accessories for the tools they sell. For example, I went in for flat scroll saw blades and they only sell pin scroll saw blades and the only scroll saw they sell takes pin type blades.
But otherwise, great shop and pleasant service.

Went to buy in welding machine, they pretend to have good knowledge and sold us the worse machine ever, only a week or so ago and the machine works for 5 minute and switch off to cool down for 20-30 min, called for explanation, they are very rude and arrogant, once you bought the item customer service is very poor so are the products! wouldn't buy again from Machine Mart!!!

Plenty of good quality tools at decent prices and the man in the shop was really helpful and friendly. I would definitely go here again. I been again bought a compressor and a nail gun and some other stuff for my garage the staff we're really great they fitted all the connectors to the compressor that I need plus they same me money stopping me buying stuff I didn't need or when a cheaper one was as good. Great set of lads in there. Will see them again soon
