A really great service! Booked last minute to assist with a house move and the two removal guys were approachable, hard working and got the job done in no time at all. Avoid at all costs – unprofessional and careless service!

Despite the overwhelming number of positive reviews, my experience with Lincs Man with a Van was completely the opposite, making me seriously question the authenticity of all their positive reviews.

From the start, the company seemed professional—when I phoned for a quote, I spoke with a man (later found out to be the boss), who assured me that all my belongings would be properly wrapped and secured during transport. However, moving day was a disaster. The team that arrived had absolutely no protective materials and handled my items with shocking carelessness.

They damaged multiple pieces of furniture, including my wardrobe, which cost several hundred pounds. Before it even made it into the van, they dropped it, completely smashing the base. On top of that, they caused significant damage to both my old and new home, hitting walls, doors, and leaving noticeable marks throughout.

When I called to complain, my concerns were completely ignored. After multiple calls, I eventually got through to the same man who had given me the quote who identified himself as the boss. Instead of taking any accountability, he simply bad-mouthed his staff and did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation.

If the business responds, I fully expect a typical cowboy-style denial, probably claiming they have "no record of me as a customer"... but ask yourself, why would someone leave a negative review like this for no reason? This is a completely honest reflection of my experience, and I hope it serves as a warning to others before trusting their reviews. I wish I had come across a review like this beforehand, it would have made me think twice about hiring them.

If the company had even acknowledged their mistakes or made any effort to put things right, this review wouldn’t exist. They have no one to blame but themselves and I tried to resolve this directly with them.
