Lincoln Central Bus Station - Lincoln

It’s a decent enough bus station now they’ve revamped it, but it’s starting to look a bit filthy now the pigeons have gone in and pooed all over the floor. Seating space is decent enough but when it’s busy people crowd all over the place and you have to awkwardly ask if they’re waiting for your bus or another one. Not to mention, despite signs all over the place of no vaping or smoking, people are still in there vaping and no one seems to be bothered to sort it out.

At the moment busses are not turning up, my daughter has had to wait an hour in the cold for a bus tonight, we went through the same thing the other week together, during the winder season they seemed to have decided not to run the early buses and the earliest was 7:37 well I needed to be at work at 7. They never update us and drivers pretend not to see broken down buses and when asked why a bus hasn't turned up they play ignorant even though they will have passed and picked up the broken down busses passengers. Some are really helpful and do take the time to inform you what's going on but at the moment the service is not making people happy and increasing the price while the service isn't good, isn't Good. Not happy too cold to be lettings young and old wait for an hour in the cold.

Much better than the previous bus station, i happily pay to use the toilets whwn i arrive as they are nice and clean, although up 3 flights of stairs but a lift is available

The station is an absolute mess!!! Buses do not depart from the stated platforms. Sometimes they do not depart on schedule! I cannot take my child to school on time because of this! Why does no one bring order? Someone should be responsible for this? Why is the work of the station, timely departures and correct platform numbers not monitored by anyone?

Really big bus station with a nice cafe and shop just underneath the sign. Got some items from there and the prices were fair. Didn’t get to take the bus because of my schedule but was able to get a taxi just outside the station. Area was also neat and looked well organized and maintained!👍🏾

Very dirty , which i know its constantly in use but going to toilet and just stench of urine in all the toilets (as in dried urine) is vile especially when paying. Not enough chairs to accomodation thoss with disabilities or conditions. Bus drivers are just rude and disability toilet is locked so isnt accessible.

The Lincoln Central bus station has the worst and unproductive management I have ever came across, they're a bunch of lazy fellow. I boarded the bus from Birchwood to the central bus station on 18 December 2024, at around 2pm and arrived at the station at around 2:40pm, between this time I lost my mobile phone in the bus, and I reported the incident to the driver and to the central office, obtained a police report and presented the report to the central office for them to commence investigation, after 5 days when I didn't hear from them I decided to visit the central office to hear an update into their investigation, only for me to be told that they looked through the CCTV footage but didn't find it, and I asked the team manager at the station a simple and basic question "did you see me paying the fare to the driver at the I entered into the bus"? He was dumbfounded and he said NO I didn't see you paying! So I asked him again, did you really checked through the CCTV footage as you've earlier claimed? and he provoked that I was insinuating that he's a liar.! Are you not a liar?

So people,be careful and keep your belongings very well, don't assume that the CCTV cameras in the Lincoln buses would help find your lost item when you miss any in the bus.. perhaps the cameras are there for fancy,non functional or operational.

The bus station is always well lit but the buses can be late which is difficult for a student and it can be cold but the cafe is nice same with the staff
