This is my local
Post office they are great!!!! Only post office open on Saturdays till 17:30 which means I can go pay money into my bank account so easily if needed on a Saturday when either banks are closed or close early. All post offices close early on a Saturday but not Lancaster Road. Staff are helpful and attentive.

Don’t use them unless you have no other choice. They will always over charge you and are the most dishonest people you will meet.
On almost all dealings with them I have been overcharged and when I question it they will then offer a cheaper service.
Avoid these people and go to another branch where they are friendly and honest

The customer service here is fantastic! I always choose Lancaster road post office whenever I'm sending out parcels, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
My daughter in-law had some parcels to send to Germany and the cost of postage would of been extortionate, if it wasn't for the helpful owner, he helped us to figure out a much cheaper logistical way to send saving us hundreds of pounds, this goes to show that this is a man of honour and integrity.

The customer service experience at this post office was not only subpar but bordered on rude. Despite the presence of more then one customer service advisors, there was only one operational till after a 15-minute wait in line. When it was finally my turn, the assistant curtly informed me that they could not assist me and suggested I return in the afternoon. The lack of assistance was compounded by a dismissive and impolite attitude. This was particularly surprising, as one would expect employees at a post office to be adequately trained and courteous. As I left, frustrated and confused, I observed other customers enduring the same lack of service while waiting outside in the rain. The overall experience was a stark departure from the level of professionalism one would anticipate from one of England's most widely used postage services.

If you must use this post office as sometimes I do due to convenience, here are some things that you should know.
These guys are sales people. They will try and “make the most money out of you “. As an example if you were to post a parcel first class or recorded they will quote you the highest price out of the various services available. I have experienced this a several times. I am now very alert to their ways. Here are things you can do to avoid being ripped off by them :
1. Check the Royal Mail website for the cost of the service you are looking for. (Be very clear about the service you need and the cost)
2. When you go to the counter ask them for the exact service and quote them the price , don’t let them tell you what the price is.

It’s great to have a post office in the local area but not so great when they try to rip you off.

This is the most friendliest and helpful post office I have ever been too. It’s not my nearest post office but because of the level of service I always receive I always opt to use the services here and send and receive any parcels. Thank you post office team for always making my visits pleasant and smooth.
