Stay clear of! By far the worst business experience I have had with anyone in my 12years of running my business. We paid for a job that was delayed for 6-7 weeks, then to discover that they had not even organised collection of our equipment. We then requested a refund. We were told it would take 5-7 days (for a U.K based account to pay another U.K based account). Over 2 weeks has now passed and I am struggling to reach Kanayo. Clearly has no experience shipping large items, probably used to sending smaller items. If you enjoy stress and losing thousands of pounds, these guys are your best option.

I have been shipping goods with KJ cargos for so many years and I have never had any problems with them...they have excellent customer service and they are reliable?. My latest air freight from Nigeria got here on time even though there was a bank holiday. The employees in Nigeria and in the Uk have excellent customer service, they replied promptly to my messages. I gave them a 5 star because am always a satisfied customer.

Its hard to trust and depend on some shipping company nowadays, with lot of people trying to over charge you or rip you off.

My personal experience with KJ Cargo Services has restored my faith in the shipping industry again. After contacting KJ Cargo Services on behalf of my brother who was relocating back to Offenbach in Germany and wanted his personal belongings moved as quick as possible, which was done professional without delay at a reasonable price by KJ Cargo Services within the short period of two days.

Thank you very much for your outstanding services, which to me its a 5* all round in Speed, Price, Honesty, Communication, Knowledgeable advice and assurance.

Used Kj Cargo for the first them, I was a bit skeptical about using them when I first saw their advert on Instagram but I called them and they promised that I wouldn't their services. Long story short, I gave them a try and my goods arrived Scotland from Nigeria a week plus and goods were well packaged, excellent customer service in terms of communication. I will definitely recommend them to others. Keep it up guys.

I am glad I sent my parcel to Nigeria with KJ Cargo services. Their prompt and excellent service delivery is beyond my expectations.
I called them and the next day, they were in my house to pick up the parcel, and before I could say go, it was already delivered to Nigeria and in perfect condition.
I will recommend KJ Cargo services any day any time.

Unreliable, hidden fees & poor comms. Do not use!

I've had the most awful experience using KJ Cargo's services. I use a different shipper normally (County Cargo) but my friend recommended that I try KJ Cargo.

The experience started off really great. I got whatsapp notifications for every item i sent to them, and then for the shipment, they sent me a tracking link with an invoice which i thought was a nice techy touch. I even commended them for the service so far, and proceeded to order more items to their warehouse for subsequent shipment.

I was told my shipment was in Lagos and would be available for pickup on the 14th of April. I followed up on the 14th, knowing the 15th was a public holiday. I got no response.
Finally a WHOLE WEEK LATER than promised and with VERY poor communication from their team (no response or late responses to emails, whatsapp and calls), I was told to come and pick up my shipment. I told them I requested for a home delivery, to which they proceeded to add extra charges to my invoice. Long story short, I ended up having to book and uber to pick my shipment from the office.
My goods arrived with some of the food items melted and degraded.

They charged me 64 pounds for under 10kg.

Unfortunately I had ordered more items to their warehouse already. I was forced to ship again the rate of 10kg even though they were just a few items and the service is supposed to be "consolidated". Complete lies.

This time I received an invoice for 65 pounds, so they raised the per kilo rate without informing me, in addition to charging for 10KG instead of the actual volumetric weight of my items. I've emailed them requesting an explanation.

All in all, i'll have spent over £150 to ship less than 12 kilos worth of goods, with poor communication, huge amounts of stress and damaged goods by the time they arrived. Definitely not worth it.

I gave them this feedback directly, and they only decided to respond when they realised I was planning on leaving a review, telling me to "be nice". What an insult. They made no attempt to remedy the situation.

I would definitely recommend that you DO NOT use this service. They think that fancy technology can make up for an abysmal service, but clients will quickly see through that. I'd rather use other reliable services with less technology any day!

1) It's a lie. I was never told there was an airline backlog, and the COVID 19 excuse is getting weak and overused already. This isn't 2021. I have a screenshot of a whatsapp conversation where I was told it would arrive on the 14th. Nothing about covid or airline delays. Please don't tell lies in an attempt at damage control.

2) If you are truly sorry, you should not have hiked the price without informing me, and should have already applied a remedial discount to my existing invoice (#INV-20994). Instead I was charged a per kilo rate thats 5p higher than the price hike you informed me about AFTER i had shipped. #Crazy

UPDATE 13th June 2022
After making an error on my invoice, I received an email from KJ cargo on the 11th of May, updating my invoice with a discount of £15 pounds which I appreciated as said I would update my review accordingly.

Got an email on the 16th of may as well as several calls asking me to update the review, which I’ve done now

You're more than welcome to use this service if your stuff is not needed urgent. I never shipped anything to Nigeria before but this being my first attempt was a bad experience so far, I will never use them again never. I wished I had come here first to read people's reviews before dealing with them. My car was scheduled to be shipped in November 2020, and expected for it to be in Nigeria by December, I choose to use roro instead container which will allow me to load the car, but I use roro because of the urgency of the need of the car. This guy Kanayo didn't call me to inform me that the ship will not be leaving in November again not until I called him in December 2020, he promised that the ship should leave in December, so I decided to schedule my traveling till January, this guy left the UK to Nigeria without no any notice or any correspondence to call.
He will never call you and they never about your stuff. Reading the reviews here as far back 2015 till date the reviews still remain the same, I wonder how they still remains in business ?. If you deal with them it is at your own risk. Bad business people
