Lovely walk along the ridge of the south downs, with spectacular views in every direction. A pair of low flying kites, a hovering kestrel & a flock of goldfinches added to our experience.

Yet another trig point to do on the South Downs Way. Well, not quite as Kithurst Hill is slightly north of the official trail, but worth the dog leg to it just to get another trig.

We enjoyed our bike ride up on the South downs. It's good walking / cycling country. You can see the sea from the ridge and offshore wind turbines. But you should take your own food and drink if you're going to be up on the hills for a while as we didn't pass anything.

Lovely part of the South Downs to go for a long walk. Fantastic in the summer with fabulous views of the surrounding hills and the sea on a clear day. But weather can be a bit dodgy in the winter.
