Very small island airport with 2 gates. Staff are friendly and efficient. Security was thorough and respectful.
Boarding is fast and orderly. Airport clean and tidy. The waiting area for flights after security has a nice view of planes landing, decent seats, and a small library with nice selection.

A great standard regional airport that has as much to offer as you really need. Nice friendly staff, car rental, cafe, gift shop that supports locally manufactured goods and displays of some local history.
Great transport links right outside the entrance to Kirkwall town centre travel centre to continue on your travels around the island.

Small, friendly airport with efficient staff and security. Flights in and out of Orkney are via Loganair, which in the past year has become much more reliable than it used to be. Small café inside. Car rental available.

It’s a great little Highlands and Islands airport. There is a large car park. The bus, no 4, leaves outside and seems to match the mainland flights. The bus is 15 mins and £1.80. Best way to travel to Kirkwall

Easily to get to from Kirkwall on the bus from near the cathedral with tickets being less the £2. Staff are friendly and helpful. The airport was clean and easy to find your way around (it is quite small but still). There was a little gift shop which had some great stuff in it (pretty cards, etc) & the cafe does amazing breakfast rolls. The hash browns were great! Got the plane from here to papa westray.

However no cafe ots now closed which is very unfortunate as planned to get breakfast there before my flight.
