It is interesting to climb over the small gate and go upstairs and see the control room of the bridge. Also just as easy to go underneath the bridge... Do not fall in the fourth or you are gone

Quick and easy I don't particularly like bridges because of how high they are but this drive was great 😍

It's a bridge. One of its more unusual bridge qualities is that it can open to let ships through, and close to let vehicles across. As a car driver i prefer it when it's closed to let me and my car across, but people on ships wanting to get up and down the river may disagree with me.
If it does open I would like to be the first in the line of traffic so at least I get a good view of both the ship and of the bridge opening & closing, but I think I'd like to be last across before it closed more.
I'm not sure what else I can say about a bridge I was asked to review... I usually mention the friendliness of the staff (someone must open and close the bridge) but I've never met any.

No longer used as a cantilever bridge however makes access to Stirling and Falkirk really handy. Can get congested at peak times. If you like photography then it's worth walking across on a calm day

OOH, what a lovely bridge.
Yes, I know, " what's so good about a bridge "
Well, it seemed quite nice, pleasantly roomy and not squished on the lanes.

The bridge has clearly seen better days. Cables and etc now dangling off its underside. Rusty metal, faded signs.
